Embark Studios had a secret gem, hidden right under my nose. While the new extraction shooter is getting love and attention, this hidden gem is rotting away slowly and painfully. I found out that Embark Studios had a prequal to Arc Raiders which was made much earlier. I didn't think much of it, I didn't start playing till late into 2026. When I played I was shocked. The gameplay, dynamic destruction, impressive story line, it was wrapped up in a free bundle for anyone to open. I was LOCKED in this game, grinding through the tutorial and trying to just play 1 match. I did, and then I was blown away in aw, it was like a present being re opened again. I couldn't stop. I figured out what gun fits me the best, mastering the game.
