Great graphics and easy to play solo!
Truly, a copy and paste port from mobile. I don't recommend this game. Worst hour I ever spent in recent memory. I whether eat the poop lettuce this this.
not sure why this was released
After playing 140 hours in the early access, I must say this is a very bad port from a mobile version, I was hoping that in the steam release, the game was fixed. However, it's the same early access issues, bugs, glitches, dumb enemies AI, caped daily progression, shield mobs too powerful (you spend all your ammo with it trying to kill), bad physics the bodies after kill are flying around. The developer have plenty of time to fix it, but released in this poor state. Very awful mobile to mouse/keyboard/controller translation support, too much clicks and very confusing menus, the forcing equip a new gear window so annoying while in gameplay (this issue never fixed, please remove it), many bugs and glitches (teleporting mobs and stutterings), very underwhelming rewards from events, very repetitive and boring grinding endgame, there's no stash to store all your gear and weapons, and there's no loadout manager. I can recomend because it's free, it has a decent campaign, can keep busy about 20 hours or so, It's fun until you reach the end-game, just be aware that are too many issues to fix it. Maybe they need more time to polish and fix it, should be a good game in a 1-2 years.
I completed 100% of the achievements, so I gave this game a fair chance. And the moment the last achievement popped, I didn't even hesitate. Alt + F4. Then I immediately uninstalled the game. The repetition is absolutely insane. From the beginning to the end, you're basically doing the same thing over and over again: take cover, shoot the same enemies, loot, upgrade your gear, and repeat. The side quests and missions feel almost identical. There isn't enough variety to keep the gameplay interesting for a full playthrough. And the enemies… bullet sponges at their finest. Even after getting an Exotic weapon, some enemies can absorb ridiculous amounts of ammunition. Emptying 10+ magazines into an enemy's head just to kill one enemy doesn't feel challenging — it feels like the game is artificially increasing difficulty by giving enemies enormous HP bars. The combat itself is also disappointing. You're constantly shooting enemies, but there is very little sense of impact or satisfaction behind it. And then there's the UI. This is probably the biggest reminder that this was designed as a mobile game first and brought to PC later. The interface is overloaded with menus, icons, notifications, currencies, upgrades and buttons everywhere. It feels like I'm navigating a mobile game rather than playing a proper PC title.
We could have been playing The Division: Heartland, but Ubisoft canceled it as part of its corporate cost-reduction strategy. Instead, the free-to-play Division game we got is a stripped-down version of The Division 1 that is heavily monetized and designed for mobile devices. Now it's available on PC, likely because it wasn't attracting enough players on mobile. I’m playing it, and I'm kind of "enjoying" it. The story is decent, though not particularly remarkable. Overall, the game has potential for improvement, assuming Ubisoft commits to supporting it and doesn’t shut it down in a year or two. The game is free-to-play, so it’s definitely worth at least trying if you don't mind mobile games. My review is mixed; however, Steam doesn't offer that as an option, so negative it is. • Would I recommend it: No • Will I keep playing it: Yes
The UI needs alot of work. Conflicts people just stand there and you lose. If you try to report someone you can't because the UI is bugged. This game feels like it was a bad port of Division 1 the only reason I will keep playing is to just 100% it then it's dropped.
The devs left has left game, what remain is buggy mess game, i kid you not, the recent updates supposed to give us new items, features, and fixing bugs. HOWEVER, ITS THE OTHER WAY AROUND, THEY GAVE US THE BUGS THAT NEVER EXISTED BEFORE, YOU LITERALLY CANNOT REVIVE YOUR TEAMMATE ON NO RESPAWN ZONE EVEN WHEN THEY ARENT DECEASED YET. This is so infriurating because the dev has left the game, they only care about selling us battle pass and cosmetic bs. Even the so called gacha free to play Chinese games are far better than this, this is a JOKE, dont ever invest your time or money on this game.
