Darkness below is a game which remind me of legends of amberland. I played through the game to the end and did not encounter any bugs worth mentionen and only one crash. The last third of the game I only wished it to end since I was so tired of opening yet another door and fight another battle. Still, somehow I loved the first third of the game until it got too repetitive. For the price asked I don´t think it was worth it but I was starved of any rpg so this filled the gap for the time. Positives: - Large world and many areas to explore - Excellent still images at important locations - Good puzzles - Good story and well written texts attacked to the story and important location - Mediocre but acceptable graphics Negatives: - Never found any secret doors - Items in chests are useless from the middle of the game to the end. There are no interesting things to find. - You eventually get huge amounts of gold but have nothing interesting to buy for it - Shops don´t replenish at all or extremely seldom - There is no need for wizards. Spells are generally worthless from after a third of the game. Better to stick with fighters. - You probably need a cleric in the team - Spells for wizards are very hard to come by. I had no interesting spells at all during the whole game. Only the starting spells for wizards. - Fights become boring and repetitive very fast - Time consuming to run around to look for skill trainers in every city and try to remember where they are - Overpriced game. This should cost 5-10 dollars. Not worth full price for what you get. - Sound is quite poor and the music is very simple

I liked the game. I love games of this kind. I like: - the atmosphere, the design, a lot of weapons and armor, magic, good quests, generally addictive. I dont like: - there are no lines in conversations, some skills don't seem to be used, at first it's not clear how to get some skills (fixed in the last update)
Amazing game, completed the Demo and instantly purchased the full version. Already sunk 13+ hours and it's less than a half of content the game has to offer, looking forward to continue playing. The game has charming retro style graphics, interface and sound effects. In the core it's very Might and Magic - like, bringing sweet memories of MM6-8 games. The combat is well balanced and satisfying, though a lot of enemies can cast a permanent debuff on your characters which you can remove using potions/temples only which leads to annoying backtracking. Hope the dev allows to stack potions or introduces new spells to remove said conditions, this is so far the most annoying of the minor annoyances I've found in my run.
