First racing game I played with the whole 'playlist' system. I guess it's pretty fun and makes it so that you can pick it up for a short while anytime you want. Not that great at keeping you engaged though.. I'd say pick it up on sale, you'll get a fun couple of hours out of it. Won't ever scratch the itch that the original one left though..
i like it

After putting a good amount of time into both The Crew Motorfest and Forza Horizon, I honestly had more fun with Motorfest. The thing that kept me coming back was the playlists. Every playlist feels like its own little adventure instead of just another set of races. One minute you're driving classic JDM cars, then you're in supercars, off-road trucks, or vintage icons. It keeps changing things up, so I never got bored. The map isn't as big as Forza's, but it's packed with detail and looks amazing. I found myself cruising around Oahu even when I wasn't trying to complete anything. The driving feels satisfying, the cars sound great, and collecting new rides actually felt rewarding. It's not a perfect game. The always-online requirement can be annoying, and the handling isn't for everyone. But every time I launched it, I ended up saying, "Just one more playlist," and suddenly two hours had passed. Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but I genuinely enjoyed The Crew Motorfest more than Forza Horizon. If you just want a fun arcade racer that keeps you hooked, I'd definitely recommend it.
