I have a weakness for hidden object games and Solitaire. They're great to play semi-mindlessly while doing other things that don't demand your full attention. This game packages both into one game along with a completely pointless story. What's not to love?
Good mechanics, I like how you can leave up to 4 cards and still pass the level since it is not start based. Good story and theme, great music.

I like this game however, the grinding can get to be frustrating. In order to progress, you will have to play many rounds of solitaire before you can get a winning hand in order to progress. I don't mind it so much, but if you like insta-wins or perfect hands, then this style of solitaire might not be for you. I do recommend it if you have patience.
There are basically 8 sections of the game: before any companions (in-games cheats to blast away card, get a useful card, etc.), before/after companion 1, before/after companion 2, etc. and each section has slightly different road hazards on the map. the section after companion 1 and especially before companion 2 is incredibly difficult unless all unlocked companions are upgraded. Additionally, the final are is bugged? Each of the sections is a series of gauntlets of 10 levels. (and most have more than one gauntlet). For some reason, replaying levels in the final section generate the "enemy drops" like in the rest of the game. So you can permanently break your save file and be unable to see the end of the game. You can get all the achievements before even unlocking the third companion, but the game's final section is too flawed for recommendation.
Love this series
Yes.
This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements in games and have this one in their backlog (minor spoilers ahead). Description: The Chronicles of Emerland. Solitaire. is a solitaire card game with a classic fantasy story and theme and a few point and click levels where you need to find hidden objects. The graphics remind me of the 90’s games and they don’t scale well to 4K and a wide screen ratio. The gameplay is what you would expect but some new backgrounds and features are added that make the stages different. Power ups are also added as you advance in the story and others are available for purchase as items. Achievements: How many: 14 Achievements. How much time: Around 26 hours. Game difficulty: Medium, as in most solitaire games there are lots of hands that you simply won’t win and you’ll have to repeat the same levels a few times. Achievements’ Difficulty: Hard. Most achievements are obtained automatically as you clear the levels and gain experience, even getting the necessary perfect stages is easier after you have all the power ups, but finishing the final level will require skill, strategy and a good amount of luck, since you need to clear most of the levels with the first hand you get. Overall opinion: The Chronicles of Emerland. Solitaire. is an interesting solitaire game but it will require a good amount of grinding to keep getting the necessary amount of gold and experience and the final level is particularly hard so play it only if you’re looking for a tough challenge that requires some luck. I still recommend the game, but it isn't for everyone for sure.
