The Boo Factory
Collect candy as currency and spend it at The Boo Factory! Customize your character, purchase items and pets for your lobby, or buy tricks 'n treats to use in game to mess with your friends!

the cabin game contains strobing and flashing lights that could cause a small percentage of people to experience seizures when exposed to certain lights, patterns, or images.

Surprisingly fun and creative
This game is AMAZING. I cannot recommend this game enough to people, especially at current sale price of 8 dollars. In my opinion it's a mix of Inscryption and Phasmophobia but better than you could imagine. Has incredible replayability, being different each time you play and giving you and your friends complete control of the game each time you play, controlling the layout of the cabin, trying to set yourselves up for later times of the night. I will warn this game is NOT very well optimized which is understandable for an early access Unreal Engine game. Even with my specs, at maximum graphics, at certain times my FPS dips below 60fps at 1440p. I really enjoy this game and look forward to playing more with friends as well as looking forward to future updates! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK DEVELOPERS

Really fun game with a lot of potential! It needs some work, but it's in early access so I'm sure that it'll be sharpened with time :) I'm excited to see what the final game is like. I think the devs have a great thing going. My friends and my pointers: Pros: - really like the concept of a card game and minigames! It's a great mix of investigative, card game, and survival. - great sound design - character designs and movements are great, especially for an indie dev. They beat out some character designs by bigger dev companies (looking at you, Phasmophobia). Also kudos to having a diverse set of characters to choose from - the forest when you escape is beautiful - I like that you collect candies and can buy things with them! - the 'minigames' as I'll call them are fun and have decent variety thus far (I've played one full game) - Monster designs are fun and clever. - Scary! The game definitely had me tense and scared at points - I like that, during the attic game, the players not in the attic could still hear the monster. Definitely added to the fear factor despite us not directly experiencing it. - House is creepy!! - auto-fit to my ultrawide monitor, which not all games do Cons: - Needs a tutorial (pretty badly! The menu was a bit helpful but all of our first game was figuring out the game mechanics, and a good chunk of our second). I think this is my biggest complaint. - small bugs, such as dead players' blood splatters following them around. These didn't really distract from the game, though. - Animation speeds between turns is sometimes slow; animation quality during deaths needs improvement (the blood splatters on the dead players' screen particularly would benefit from higher quality graphics) - Fatal Clover game bug: 2/3 of our players could not move their mouse down far enough to extinguish the candles. Changing FOV didn't help. They could look around but just not far enough down. This resulted in us having to end the game and fully restart. This was after The Tall Man card, to which those same players reported that they were also tall after their deaths. We weren't sure if this was part of the bug. - unclear what the pink potion bottle is, awarded at the end of a round - Riddle cards need better hints or explanations. Several cards had us going "Huh???" with no idea where to even start. The Knight game in particular (unclear how to turn him, too), as well as the one where you turn off the lights and then go to the fireplace. I did this one several times, seemingly on a loop, but it would restart. Unsure if it was a bug or if I did it incorrectly. Questions that don't necessarily need answering: - why are these people doing this? it seems completely optional with a big risk (i.e., dying, lol). Are they getting paid? Are they reckless? What's goin on? - curious how many 'minigames' there are and how it'll impact replay-ability Overall I'm excited to see where the devs take the game! :)
great game that makes you think and collaborate. Hopefully it gets the attention it deserves.
This game is creative asf.
Very fun.
Went into this game blindly and so far, this game did not disappoint. There are a few things that do get a tad bit annoying, which I will be listing from my own personal experience. So far, I do recommend this game and definitely can't wait to see what the devs will be adding as time goes on. For starters, I do like the gameplay and enjoy the trial and error of figuring out the different enemy types to fight against. I like the card mechanics and the creation of setting your own layouts to help yourself run and hide. It is a really cool idea handled really well within this game that makes each run feel different in it's own way. The RNG aspect could be tweaked a little bit since sometimes we tend to hardly ever get any room cards for clues, or we end up getting more hallway cards which prevents most clues being found throughout the run. Now moving to a few issues that I have experienced. The main one is the continuous disconnection that me and my friend would have with one another. We tried hosting our own respective games and yet we would still be disconnected from each other, yet neither of us would be doing anything disconnect worthy. Losing hours of progress to a disconnection is tilting to a degree, and having to restart from scratch makes it slightly more annoying. The next issue involves stuttering, both me and my friend have very good pc's but somehow it feels as if the game isn't optimized properly for our pc's to handle. Frames would drop or freeze momentarily, and even turning down the settings all the way don't prevent this issue. The last issue involves some movement. At constant intervals sometimes turning left or right causes your mouse to "lock" in place and prohibits that turning action for a few seconds. It makes it harder to run from the monsters or just to walk around at your newly created layout, and it happens very often. I do like this game, I hope to see more done to hopefully polish and flesh it out more, I like the ideas and i really like the gameplay. Hope to see something more in the future.
Okay, so we're gonna put aside the few bugs (I say few based on my experience and not that of others) considering it still is in early access. I really like this game. As they say, it makes my heebies jeebied. The overall vibe is spot on for this type of game. The lighting, the music, random noises in the background. Also the gameplay is easy enough once you learn how the table operates and the general goal of it all is. Hoping the developers continue to add more content as I've been playing daily since I've purchased it and look forward to what they come up with in the future.
10/10 should be able to pet the animals tho
