UNO night... while the house is trying to kill you (at least, that's how it felt to me) The Cabin Game is what happens when a haunted house, a card game, and four people with terrible decision-making skills get locked in a room together. The idea is genuinely clever. You play cards, build the cabin room by room, search for clues, and desperately try to escape before the game turns everyone into decorative corpses. Every card can either help the team or unleash some fresh supernatural nonsense, so even the person who says, “Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing,” becomes a threat within thirty seconds. With friends, it’s hilarious. One person is solving clues, one is completely lost, one is screaming, and the fourth is quietly making decisions that will get everybody killed. That’s teamwork, apparently. The atmosphere is creepy without taking itself too seriously, and the randomness makes each run feel different. Unfortunately, Early Access also lives in the cabin. There are a few connection problems, confusing mechanics, occasional lag, and bugs that can interrupt a run. Still, underneath the rough edges is a seriously fun idea with plenty of personality. It isn’t fully cooked yet, but it already delivers some brilliantly chaotic moments. Pros: - Clever mixture of cards, puzzles, and horror - Different cabin layouts and unpredictable events - Great fun with friends - Plenty of opportunities to betray each other “accidentally” - Clowns, monsters, and worse: incompetent teammates Cons: - Bugs and connection issues - Weak explanation of the mechanics - Some turns drag longer than they should - Your friends will absolutely blame you for everything Verdict: 8/10 ⭐ A promising little horror game where the cards are cursed, the cabin keeps changing, and the greatest monster is still the friend who says, “Just trust me...”

chased by the tall scary man, forced to look into a corner by a demon. 10/10 would scream again.
The attic is anxiety inducing and made me cry. Thank you, I needed it. Really rough around the edges, but solid premise! Excited to see how it progresses out of early access
It combines Betrayal at House on the Hill the boardgame with a B-Horror Monster version of Jumanji. Takes some notes from Phasmophobia and the like. Performance was rough but playable. Couldn't get 155 at 2k without demolishing the graphics settings, but that isn't really surprising for something in EA. It's Early Access, so yeah, it needs a LOT of polish, but it has a strong foundation laid on a very fun take on the 4-Player horror mystery formula. Hoping for this to get the continued attention it needs to be great, but as it is right now it's been a lot of fun.
Fantastic Horror game with a new twist. Jumanji meets blue Prince. Puzzles, Minigames, spook, very re-playable. I can't recommend enough and look forward to more additions to the game. Huge potential to become the game of 2026's spooky season for me
I got this game with my best friend and we both really enjoy it. I will say, the only problem I'm having is motion sickness. Being in early access, I'm really hoping they add a motion sickness accessibility feature. So just a heads up for anyone else who gets sick like i do.
Awesome game so far, but I have had to quit out of three matches now, losing my time and XP, because of various bugs.
This game is amazing even in it's early state. A lot of variety so far for the price and has the potential to be so much more! It's confusing at first, but easy to pick up and play once you get into it and is an absolute blast with friends. Would love to see some rng customizations with the rooms/hallways in the future as well as a lot more cards and events as time goes on. Please keep working on this hidden masterpiece devs, cause I believe you have truly made something special. <3
