Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 15 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

6/10. Quick Summary: Good campaign, terrible skirmish mode. Detail: I have been looking for a good replacement for games like C&C Generals and Zero Hour which I really liked. Campaign wise I would say look no further. 2 good length campaigns, 1 for each faction and a reasonable amount of variety in the missions. Playability is very similar to Generals and there are good distinct differences between the faction units to make the campaign play interesting. I only ever played Generals on campaign and then AI skirmish so that's all I wanted from this. Unfortunately that didn't pan out. The skirmish is completely broken when you compare it to other games like the old Generals or Iron Harvest or Homeworld deserts of kharak for example. The AI balancing on those is pretty good. Tempest Rising is terrible. For example, I can play free for all against 7, Hard level, AI players on the C&C Generals Skirmish and win with some effort depending on faction. In Tempest I tried medium against 1 AI player and they will come straight at you forcing you to turtle and focus on defence. This also happens on easy level where I ended up with 6 turrets and many artillery units guarding and they were just keeping on top of it. When you do decide to attack after spending 1 hour on defences the AI will immediately rebuild a building over and over as soon as it's destroyed whilst spamming units constantly. Even on Easy level! It's insane how bad it is and the AI will often have 3 different bases around the map by this point. It literally will start building within 1 second of being destroyed over and over again and you can't get on top of it because it will change the defence units based on what you are using to attack, even on Easy level or more likely it just blends loads of mixed units together to protect against everything. I would give this game 6/10 so it's only just in the recommended level because of the terribly skirmish mode.

Very Command and Conquer feel. Really enjoyed playing through the campaign
Tempest Rising delivers a strong modern take on the classic RTS formula. Inspired by genre staples like Command & Conquer the game combines fast paced combat, strategic base-building and polished presentation into a highly engaging experience. The gameplay feels responsive and well balanced with distinct factions that encourage different playstyles and strategies. Missions remain varied throughout the campaign introducing new objectives and mechanics at a steady pace to keep gameplay fresh. The visuals are detailed, the soundtrack fits the action perfectly and the overall production quality stands out for an RTS title. What makes Tempest Rising especially impressive is how well it respects the foundations of classic RTS games while incorporating modern improvements and smoother controls. It avoids unnecessary complexity and instead focuses on delivering satisfying strategy gameplay with strong pacing and tactical depth. For fans of traditional games or the genre Tempest Rising is an excellent addition and one of the strongest modern RTS releases in recent years.
Top!
