VERY BAD, COULD NOT PLAY THE GAME BECAUSE ITS TOO DARK! COULD SEE ANYTHING! DONT BUY IT. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

more than half of my playtime was spent idling while I put together a Mori Calliope model. So...the game is short. It's more of Chilla walking sim where you find this to open that but its not as bad as previous entries. All in all, very meh.
Teke Teke is a short but incredibly intense indie horror game that draws inspiration from Japanese urban legends — and it delivers a deeply chilling experience. Based on the terrifying myth of a vengeful spirit who lost her legs and now haunts those who cross her path, the game masterfully blends folklore with atmospheric gameplay. From the very start, Teke Teke builds tension through its minimalist design, eerie environments, and clever use of sound. The low lighting, distant footsteps, and unsettling silence create a constant sense of dread, keeping players on edge even when nothing is happening — yet. The gameplay focuses on exploration, stealth, and evasion. As the legend slowly comes to life, you're forced to rely on your instincts and surroundings to survive. The game’s brief runtime works in its favor, delivering a concentrated dose of fear that doesn’t overstay its welcome. The visual style — retro yet polished — adds to the feeling that you’re trapped in a surreal nightmare. Combined with strong pacing and an effective buildup to its final moments, Teke Teke is a haunting experience that lingers after the screen goes dark. In conclusion, Teke Teke is a must-play for fans of Japanese horror and short-form indie games. It’s smart, suspenseful, and genuinely scary — proof that a good legend, when brought to life with care, can still give you goosebumps.
I was positively surprised after seeing it had mixed reviews. People kept saying it was their first game and the later one, Slit Face, was much better. Playing Teke Teke definitely made me want to try their other releases. I loved the atmosphere, especially a few small details like doubled footsteps and tall figures standing in corners. The atmosphere, especially in the first part (subway) was perfect. It's a short game with no real save function but playing it three times for three different endings wasn't a problem either.
