sucks!!!!

(Have to point out first up that I've played this game for hours but it doesn't log that in Steam as I run it directly from the EXE.) Just wanted to say I love this game. I play it on the Vive with Revive and it works perfectly with a gamepad controller (the way it was intended). YouTube videos of this game got me very excited for VR before the Vive was available, which I watched multiple times, and when I finally decided to get this and try it with Revive it was practially a spiritual experience and I'm not kidding. It has really great atmosphere and a phenomenal electronic soundtrack (it's up on Bandcamp if you're interested) not to mention sound design. I've been listening to the OST in my car for two weeks. This game is somewhat like a point and click adventure in some ways, but then has well crafted arcade-paced sections as well. Amazing it was practically all made by one person (I believe?). If you like the cyberpunk asthetic in general then you might get a little obsessed with wanting to live in this game world. It's not a super long game, maybe a few hours, but there is a lot of detail and different areas. With an actual narrative you care about. Definitely worth your money. Checking out Youtube and Reddit, it looks like a sizable add-on is coming, with Touch support, very soon. (And while it's certainly not assumed anywhere, hopefully it will run with Revive and the Vive wands.) If you like 80s and 90s sci-fi BUY THIS NOW. Buy it anyway. This is my first review on Steam. Love this game.

the shortest game ive ever played. (around 2 hours without the arcade games) animations are practically non-existant. (not even lip movement - everybody is wearing masks) story is very light (some dialogue hard to understand) and a mish-mash of various sci-fi cliches. gameplay: some mini-games, the game itself is not a game but rather a walk-by. one or two nice looking locations. 3 Dollar would be too much if you ask me.

if you like an immersive futuristic dystopian cyberpunk story that you can walk around in realtime with a vr headset then you will enjoy the hell outta this game, probably so far the most enjoyable vr experience i have had, and i have had afew , awesome music retro arcade games it does give the desired affect of feelin/being there i use the dk2 and i read some comments about this game not having immersion ,but you can change that in the options of the game to give yourself full immersion and i can tell you i played to the end and was literally walking around realtime feeling like i was actually in adam jensens room from deus ex this games pretty surreal i recommend this game to anyone that has a vr head set,loved the experience still lovin it

So I've been playing this with the DK2. Currenty I have to load it from the game folder instead of through Steam otherwise it crashes.. It's a pretty cool game. Very immersive.. Love it.. The Arcade is Awesome and the AI is dowright freaky.. Back in the late 70's early 80's the first computer game I ever played was Space Invaders on a table top arcade. and In Technolust you get to play that same game in Immersive VR... WOW.. Anyway, I highly recommend this, even if it's just a short experience it's still pretty cool.

Update: I was upset because my game crashed after struggling through a difficult segment so I ranted my problems on reddit - to which the actual developer quickly responded, thanked me for bringing an issue to his attention, and the bug was fixed within the hour. This game is still rough around the edges, make no mistake, but the atmosphere and love put into this game is truly something worth experiencing. The occasional hiccup (reminiscent of a cyberpunk/ techno dystopia anyway) isn't as big a deal as supporting an early VR medium or a developer that's passionate about his work. Give it a shot if you're a fan of this grungy/ futuristic/ tech style Old review: Way too glitchy. the "mini game" won't let you shoot after you've thrown a grenade, and the bodies of enemies you kill block your path, so you can't shoot or walk over them and you'll get stuck in an area forcing you to close the game and restart. that's after you get past the crashing at every loading screen (run the game in admin mode). the game will also randomly crash if you click on a boombox to play music... don't get me wrong i thought this was cool, but it's literally broken.

"You're not the deliverator piss off." If that means nothing to you ignore this review. This is the best game Ive played in VR. Its broken mechanically, it crashes, but is the deepest experience I've had with Oculus thus far. Beautifully expressed cyberpunk universe, lacking a bit of polish. Priced right.

To be able to jack yourself into Technolust is truly awesome. It's a great mix of cyperpunk and sci-fi. The locations you wander through are really cool. From seedy safe houses to seedier city streets and all the while interacting with robots that call you "maker", it really immersed me. The discription of it being an interactive visual novel is spot on. This isn't running, jumping, and shooting and it didn't need to be. If you like cyberpunk and sci-fi wrapped up in a dark, edgy atmosphere, then you have to play through this. Even if you wait for a sale.
