Team Fortress Classic

If you're a TF2 player, don't come in to this game expecting/hoping for a TF2 like experience. This game and TF2 share very little in common. With that out of the way, Team Fortress Classic (TFC) is a really fun experience. If you're looking for a shooter with heavy emphasis on teamwork, distinct class roles, and a high skill ceiling, TFC might be just what you're looking for! This game may be approaching 3 decades old, but it still holds up incredibly well, even for newcomers such as myself. The dedicated community still playing this game and other older Team Fortress versions is, from my experience, chill and welcoming (of course, there are always bad eggs). Fun Classic game.

It might be fun but nobody is playing public lobbies in 2026 so I didnt get to know the game like some other game's I have played but I will talk about the stuff I can do in singleplayer. Some guns are cool like the medic's nailgun and the pyro's flamethrower (although I feel like it would be mad unfair in multiplayer ngl) but then there is stuff like the engineer's lazer pistol which feels like it wouldnt do much. The artstyle is interesting to say the least. It has that real life foto texture thing from Half-Life but it dosent seem right here when looking at the charakters and the vibrant colors of both RED and BLU team. Every mercenary uses the same voice which might have been to save cost but it dosent make sense that pyro has a male voice because in the TF2 comic's TF Classic Pyro is a woman. I know that the comic's came later but I just wanted to put it out there. The fact every class has grenades and their own class uniqe bomb (I say uniqe but a lot off classes re-use each other's bombs) seems cool on paper but is bad in execution. I didnt find anybody to play with but I have seen the grenade spam problem this game has on youtube. Another thing is that stuff like the demolition man's grenades (the one from his grenade launcher not the throwing ones) has the same texture no mather the team. If I am on RED the grenades are blue. You shouldn't buy this game if you arent getting it in the Half-Life 1 Anthology Bundle or Half-Life Complete Bundle because it's not worth anything when you wont play with anybody. I give this game a 5 / 10 on the T-T-TV rating scale which isn't the game's fault for once. It just got unlucky and was forgoten by the public.

this game is awesome! but it's dead which makes me very sad :( please buy this so the game can be revived it's very fun with people!

Ok So I Love TF2 And 7.50 AUD For a game That Feels so Similar but different I would TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME

Team Fortress Classic is a pretty good game. Each class is equally fun to play as, and I like how the different classes work. However, too many of the weapons are repeated across classes, which makes only a few weapons feel unique. Other than that, it's pretty good. 8/10.
