Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 9 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Explore a gorgeous roguelite hockey world where every choice matters on your journey to restore hockey to its former glory. Hire unique players, manage your benchwarmers, discover synergies between them, choose new abilities, bribe the referees, visit the Blademaster for upgrades and a lot more.
Take charge of a ragtag group of hockey players in a roguelite journey across a mysterious land. As the newly appointed captain, every choice matters on your path to discover the secret of hockey's last bastion. Hire superstars, utilize the synergy found between players, and harness ruthless abilities, all in favor of crafting an unbeatable team.
Easier said than done, as the ultimate dream team doesn’t appear out of thin air. Use losses as an opportunity to visit the mighty Blademaster in between runs and permanently upgrade your hero for the battles ahead. When the Center is still flubbing every single face-off, there’s no shame in lining the ref’s pockets with some sweet “maple syrup.”
Combining modern precision with fast-paced 90s-inspired action, Tape to Tape offers a unique experience in the form of a simcade hockey experience. Bone-crushing body checks and stellar saves will keep players shaking in their skates, but mastering the dynamic puck physics system will secure the victory. Players and goalies will react to the puck bouncing off sticks and ricocheting off faces creating organic and emergent battles on the ice. Thankfully, there is no penalty when a tooth is lost.
A deep Roguelite campaign featuring countless powerups, events, boss battles and unique players
Create and customize your teams and players with power-ups, artifacts, and personalized color options
Over 40 different teams, each with unique synergies and colorful players
Local, couch and Steam Remote Play multiplayer for up to 10 players
Innovative goaltenders that react organically to any shot, deflected puck or rebound -goals never feel unfair
A unique co-op campaign delivering a roguelite experience like no other
Challenge your friends in Tournament, Play now or Shootout modes or play the Campaign cooperatively
A unique gorgeous blend of hand-drawn 2D sprites and animations in a 3D environment
Note: Tape to Tape does not feature native online multiplayer. However, you can still play with friends remotely using Steam Remote Play Together or third-party services such as Parsec.
Experience the Roguelite Campaign at its best in co-op. Team up with friends to conquer the campaign, debate every power-up choice, and embrace the glorious chaos that makes each run unforgettable.
You can also jump into Play Now mode, where up to 10 players can face off locally. With a wide variety of teams, deep gameplay, and countless power-ups, every match feels chaotic, competitive, and endlessly replayable.

very fun and addicting a refresher from FPS GAMES AND CHEL
first saw thing game a couple years ago when fl0m was playing it and i finally got a chance to play and im addicted
The game was good until I started trying to take Merciless. Every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time I take this talent as my first talent, the game becomes 1000% harder. The teams that I used to beat with 40 OVR nobodies and Rare Berry start playing like they've got 500 OVR. Out of curiosity, I started testing and picking this talent as my first talent as often as possible, and it's total nonsense. The opponent team's behavior changes DRASTICALLY. Your own team's behavior gets WORSE. As I'm writing this review, my team has an average OVR of 90 per player, Rare Berry +20 OVR, and Referee Rumble +20 OVR, and I'm getting rolled like I have 10 OVR. I played with completely different teams and different talents, but this kind of behavior only happens with Merciless. And usually my playthrough splits into two scenarios: either I lose in the first location, or I clear all locations and all bosses, with matches ending early (4-0, 5-1, 6-2, etc.) in the first half (and with bosses in the second). BUT WITH THIS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MERCILESS. With the stats and talents I currently have in the game, I should be destroying them to zero. Explain to me BY WHAT MAGICAL MEANS two playthroughs before this I beat the Knights in the first half SOLELY because I had one player with 80 accuracy and the rest of the stats below 45. And in the third playthrough, my first talent is TALENT, and by the time I reach the Knights I have — Angus 84 OVR, Star 92 OVR, and the rest 65-75 OVR, I have REFERE RUMBLE and BUZZER BEATER and RARE BERRY, and I can't finish the game early because of MERCILESS, and I can't win no matter what I do??? I finished game againt Khingts 12-10!!!!!!! It's disgusting. THE GAME IS JUST DISGUSTING.

Huippu peli, perusversio on hyvä, mutta tämänhetkinen beta parantaa peliä, vaikeustaso nousee ja eri joukkueet vaativat pelaajalta sopeutumiskykyä erilaiseen pelaamiseen.
Silly, refreshing hockey game with nice clean graphics. Great for taking a break from tryhard NHL sweaty players. Fun for any hockey fan and perfect for kids.
The game is fantastic in many ways, the gameplay feels great, the artwork/graphics are very pretty, and there's a very satisfying gameplay loop. The original ('old') campaign works without issue, though it does feel very easy once you've had a couple of runs through the game even on the hardest difficulty. I'll caveat this review with a note on the new campaign on the beta branch: this will eventually replace the old campaign to my knowledge and is still being heavily worked upon with various additions and tweaks to make it function better. At the moment however the teammate AI is so horrifically bad that it is game ruining beyond the standard difficulty (which is quite easy even with the team acting braindead). Teammates straight up refuse to tackle the vast majority time even on stationary targets and will just circle around them for example, making it feel like you're the only one actually defending. In the old campaign this could be solved by obtaining a certain trait on players but that's no longer available. Teammate movement also feels incredibly janky, unpredictable, and at times completely ridiculous. It's not unusual to see your defenders charge along the wings after you've lost possession whilst the opposing centre skates up through the middle completely free. Teammate AI is in desperate need of adjustment to make it functional, which I'm sure is coming with time. Regardless of this big criticism I still recommend the game as there's enough content and fun to be had to justify the price, it's just with the advice to keep in mind it's still early access with that one particularly glaring issue. Assuming development continues, and I don't see why it wouldn't, this could become one of the best hockey games available as problems are fixed and more content is added. It's already quite good as it is.
who ever decided that a team that has 4 extra players, plays soccer on ice, no sticks should be immediately fired hfc scored everything they shot. ruined the beta
Tape to Tape is a very funny arcade-style single player hockey game. The game has zero rules which is absolutely hilarious and gives the the player an opportunity to use some interesting tactics. There are also different types of power-ups and skills for the characters which shape the game even more away from traditional hockey game. The game features a campaign-styled story-mode where you are able to challenge different opponents in various sports like hockey, football and golf. Still all of the games are played on a hockey-ring though. Winning games rewards the player rubber which can be used to purchase different skills and characters. The rubber can also be used to upgrade the stats of the main character. The campaign always restarts after a loss on an important game. You must then challenge the campaign again with the purchased upgrades and characters in order to win. The campaign is not that long to be honest, but the devs are working on a campaign 2.0 which hopefully provides more variety to the matches. The game is an absolute blast to play but gets pretty repetitive quickly, especially after winning the campaign. And with a constant improvements to the characters and after purchasing more powerful skills, the campaign becomes easier and easier each time. There is of course the option to change the difficulty, but at least I don't feel like increasing the difficulty would make repeating the campaign any more interesting. There is just not really anything else apart from the campaign to keep the player interested, which is a little bit sad. Well, there are achievements but grinding them is not for everyone. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the game and think it was definitely worth the cost. But don't expect the game to have content for hours on hours like some mmo. I think it took me around three hours on normal difficulty to complete the campaign. The curve-shot skill is seriously op!
Best hockey game for PC now.
