Reviews
This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements in games. Some gameplay spoilers ahead. Description: Tales of the Tiny Planet is a casual physics-based 2D puzzle game where you need to move one or more balls (planets) using different kinds of mechanisms to push it to the sides or up, while avoiding obstacles, until you reach the goal (black hole). The graphics are simple: on the foreground the objects you can use have only one single, bright color, while the other platforms/objects have a neutral color. The backgrounds are also simple but have a slight gradient or several different tones. Overall, the game looks good and the planets look cute with their facial expressions. There isn’t a story mode, only 6 chapters with 12 levels each. New game features are introduced on each chapter and therefore as you progress the levels get increasingly more complex. The levels will be easy for most players, but the hardest ones require fast reflexes and dexterity, especially if you’re playing solo and not Co-Op. In the normal mode there is no penalty for failing and after a few tries you’ll know the right timings and how long you need to press the button. Achievements: How many: 34 Achievements. How much time: Around 6 hours, without help. Game difficulty: Very Easy, completing the levels won’t be a challenge. Achievements’ Difficulty: Easy, the two hardest achievement types, marathon mode with less than 10 deaths and 3 stars in all levels of a given chapter, will require some training and a different approach for each of them. On the 3 star achievements you can die and restart as many times as you need but you need to focus on speed to finish before the time limit. On the marathon achievements you can play safer and take your time while focusing on dying as little as possible, since the death limit for the whole run is 10. Overall opinion: Tales of the Tiny Planet is a physics puzzle game that looks good and is fun to play, but requires some training until you get it right. The hardest achievements will require some persistence but can be completed by everyone. For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Kinda fun mobile like game that you can grind 3 stars on all the levels, great time waster
Good enough to keep your attention as you work through it, but nothing mind blowing. Some levels feel like the floaty physics can be inconsistent though with chunks of trial and error. Overall for an hour or two worth of puzzles it's just fine.
Tales of the Tiny Planet is a console ported minimalist 2D retro physics puzzle game, the kind you normally see glutting mobile app stores. You have to guide a ball as it falls down a number of platforms and obstacle courses. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic vector art used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the mediocre 2D visuals. The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. Because this is a console game (and barely... it looks more like a lazy mobile app), it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone. Tales of the Tiny Planet didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievments, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for unlocking the second world, very easy to do, and only around 11 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game, less than half the players. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. Tales of the Tiny Planet has a laughable, eye watering price of $10 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games, let alone the sheer number of free games available on Steam. Given the defects and shortcomings, it's impossible to recommend this.

Qute!!! Funny~~~
