Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I cant recommend TKOM anymore as of 2026, thus I´ve just changed my Review from positive to negative. It comes with a few points to discuss. I´m very sorry and am very sad that such a great Experience is not to be found among other Games. All those Mars Games available with todays technical standards are literally BS, while TKOM really provide an actually believeable Experience, despite its clunky controlls where you constantly bouncy against everythings. It will be deeply missed. 1.) The Game is old TKOM is almost 10 years old if taking into account the official release in 2017. The Early Access release was in 2013 iirc. Thus the Game does not reflect todays standards anymore. You might notice performance issues, and some bugs and eventually some CTD´s. Many People report crashes throughout the Single player Campaign, that might be able to fix with older Drivers. I can not very much say somethings about it, as I haven't yet played it with my current Settings, but I´m about to start a new walkthrough and might be able to say something about that later. 2.) The Game is pretty much dead TKOM offers a Multiplayer, but entering it will make you feel quite alone in a very empty Lobby. No Servers are listed. But you´re still able to host a Mission with some Friends. That's at least still technically possible. 3.) The Game does not explain much TKOM literally throws you into several Play Style Situations and expects you to figure out by your own what the heck you´re supposed to do here. It is fun but can also lead to frustration. 3.) The Game has yet something to offer TKOM offers a couple of very different Playstyles, from Control Center over a Rover Experience on the Mars surface over a full fleshed out first Person Campaign. That is actually the Part where the Game shines the most and why I recommend the Game despite its pretty much abandoned and dead status. The Campaign is highly immersive with great and very believable sounds and visuals. The feeling of being alone as a survivor on the Spacecraft crash site and figure out how to survive and return back to earth is very interesting, entertaining and immersive at the same time. I have had great experiences playing this Campaign a couple of times already. 4.) Should you buy it? EDIT: Clearly no, unless you´re really a badass Driver technitian and Software developer to fix the vast reasons for Crashes. Well, the Game comes at around 10 bugs now. Because of its dead and abandoned state and the small Community around it (if exist at all), I highly recommend to get it on a sale only and focus on the Single Player Experience, which is very great (based on my own preferences).
