コンパクトにまとめられたSkyrimやWitcher3といった感じのゲーム。 アーサー王伝説を元にストーリーが作られており、さほど詳しくなくても聞き覚えのある単語や名前がちらほら出てくる。 ストアページを見れば一目瞭然だが、世界は陰鬱、ストーリーは基本的に暗めな話が多い。 ただしこの手のゲームにしては、事件は解決するがどの選択肢を選んでも後味が悪い結末になる、という話は少ない印象。 サイドクエストでも、プレイヤーの選択によって結末が大きく変わる話がたくさん用意されている。 選択を誤るとクエストがそのまま終了して、後々のクエストが発生すらしなくなったりするので、取り返しのつかない選択肢に頭を悩ませることになる。 ちなみに取り返しのつかない要素といえばオープンワールドではよくあることなのだが このゲームは本当に恐ろしい要素が一つだけあるので、注意喚起をしておきたい。 [spoiler]水辺で寝ている巨大なカエルには、絶対に手を出してはいけない。絶対にだ。 好奇心に任せて撫でてもいいが、セーブは忘れずに。絶対にだ。[/spoiler]

It's a little janky, but in much the same way as beloved classics like Oblivion. The dark fantasy theme is pretty unique and I'm really enjoying my first playthrough right now. The modding community is pretty active on Nexus. If it's on sale and you want something that feels like a modded Skyrim run with a fresh coat of narrative paint, try it out. If you like Arthurian legend, check it out.

Graphics needs some work and there are a few bugs (like the damn elevators). Combat can feel a bit clunky at times. Those are the only downsides to this game. The story. The customizations. The options. The exploring. The atmosphere. The progression. The want to keep seeing what the next side quest could be from a simple letter political discussion about religion and politics - to a full blown dungeon with a goddess being damned by a curse and figuring out how to cure it with multiple bosses. What a game! I wish I didn't sleep on this game. If you like Oblivion, Fable, Skyrim or Dark Souls. I'm confident you'll like this 👍

absolute great game... deeply elder scrolls inspired but bloody great

I was surprised how everytime I thought I had found every little quest in every little nook, there was always something more to find. The Visuals are appealing, the gameplay is fun (Just don't lean to hard into crit magic or the game beats itself), the story is dark and engaging with tough choices at points if you care about that stuff. The DLC is small but enjoyable, and the game is somehow nearly bug free, which impressed me for a game of this scale on this budget. more than I expected for the price and overall I'd give this game a solid 8/10. PS. I Wish I had the voice of Arthurs VA
