Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Very good tactics game, pretty similar to FF Tactics
maybe the most complete and deep rpg i've ever played. i'm 180 hours in.... dont feel like even scratched the surface. i'm looking at guides, looking at my wyrmscale gear, every named character, done all all the law and chaos routes.... and thinking.... wtf is that? i'm seeing people rocking weapons and gear i havent even seen. fighting angels, demon generals, stronger variants of existing unit types aswell as areas i havent even seen yet... and this is after destroying the "main games" content and fully believing i have near completed it's content. this game is something special. it's fft, but not boiled down for the average gamer. if you want an interesting story, indepth mechanics, an absolutely ridiculous wealth of content. buy this game... it has a bit of a learning curve... but i highly doubt you'll ever be satisfied if it is your thing.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

coming from later FFT games, this format where your team has many more characters in it feels a lot less fun; the more characters you have in your team, the less impactful they and their turns are. simple as. It ruins the chess element of it a little bit. Other than that its a well-made game.
The story sticks with you long after you stop playing. Certain lines and conversations make you think about the nature of politics, power and legitimacy. Really timeless ideas especially in the current chaotic world. The game play is the tactical rpg by which all other tactical rpgs are judged. Yes even FFT is held against Tactics Ogre. The union level is controversial but it causes you to actually plan and maneuver rather than making supersoldiers (as we all did in FFT back in the 90s 😏). The card system eventually grew on me as it makes you think whether to move to block an enemy for having a bonus, claiming the bonus yourself or moving/not moving for positional warfare reasons. The game is challenging and there is no option to lower the difficulty or disable the union level without an external trainer, so this game is not for everyone. I would say its to FFT what Xenonauts is to XCOM, both have their merits and both are fun but they have a different feel. The voice acting really nails the tone of the story and Denam is a very dynamic character who begins as a naive civilian and grows into either a hardened revolutionary or a venerable commander depending on your story choices.
they put staff credit at the opening to waste your time
too clunky and slow
it tickles that itch for Ogre Battle 64, while remaining an excellent title of it's own, very fun
They ruined this game like they are going to ruin Final Fantasy Tactics. ;) Dumbed it down, simplified it, stripped it of its rpg elements and content for something more streamlined.
