SYMMETRY excels at mood and presentation — its vector art and sound design are worth experiencing alone — and its survival systems provide satisfying, deliberate challenges. However, repetitive tasks and a story that’s easy to miss during play weaken the overall impact. Recommended for players who prioritize atmosphere and style, or who enjoy methodical survival sims and multiple playthroughs; those seeking a tightly told, character‑driven narrative may be disappointed. Score: 8/10 — brilliant aesthetic and solid mechanics, but repeatability and a fragmented story hold it back.
It almost tricked me into thinking there was a story. A tedious micromanagement simulator where you have to manage crew of people who would rather die than wipe their own asses. Mechanics are shallow and gameplay loop is boring as hell. Characters do not interact among each other whatsoever. Actually characters is a strong word. Units do not interact among each other whatsoever. You just see a pop up with a generic statement in the upper quarter of your screen with one of their portraits attached every minuite or so. You send out a guy to gather one of two resources and wait at the door for them to come back. That 20 second journey would drain 80% of their hp. And it is apparently you job catch them to tell them to go eat and take a rest. By the end of the game my crew consisted of five ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who I had to micro manage for an hour and a half just to watch a 10 second semi-animated comic strip of a cutscene. Technically it is also meh. It played it on a 4k screen. And although you can set the resolution in the settings all the sprites and even fonts will stay blurry. TLDR: This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I've played better free demos.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

SYMMETRY is a survival management game developed by Sleepless Clinic and released in February 2018. Set on a desolate, freezing planet, players are tasked with overseeing a group of crash survivors striving to repair their spacecraft and ensure their survival. The game features minimalist vector graphics that effectively convey a sense of isolation and desolation. The subdued color palette and ambient sound design contribute to an atmosphere of constant tension and unease. Gameplay revolves around managing resources such as wood for heating, food for sustenance, and scrap for repairs. Players must assign tasks to crew members, balancing their physical needs and mental health. The game is known for its high difficulty level, with equipment failures and harsh weather conditions presenting significant challenges. Some players have found the steep learning curve and relentless difficulty to be frustrating, while others appreciate the demanding nature of the game. In summary, SYMMETRY offers a minimalist and atmospheric survival experience that may appeal to players who enjoy challenging resource management games. However, its steep difficulty curve and repetitive gameplay may not suit everyone's tastes.
Prosta gra na spędzeni kilku godzin. Łatwa w obsłudze.
Took me less than an hour to die. Now that's a survival game. In all seriousness, it's good. Good in the "I have to finish this" kinda way. Not in the "hey that wasn't bad" kinda way. 8/10.
A bit short! The writing is nice, the art work is cool but the mechanic and depth is a bit underdeveloped.
This game isn't all bad, but I wouldn't recommend it. This is a management game where you command a group of survivors as they attempt to stay alive by managing their resources and gathering enough scrap to repair their systems and get home. Game play is simple. Click on a person, commands pop up, choose one and they head off to do it. The ui and visuals are nice and clean making it easier to intuit what they're doing. Unfortunately you will have to intuit some things and hopefully you don't wind up losing people as you figure out how long it takes to gather scrap, or that the power module doesn't protect from the elements, or what the power module even does. The early game is a constant struggle to stay alive. By the mid game you have some leeway if you didn't screw up and were able to figure out the systems Once you do figure out the systems it becomes very easy to find your routine and stick to it as you chug on to the end. While you do there are short pieces of dialogue that are meant to be some sort of progressing narrative, but it's a little hard to parse what is going on. In the late game these stop as it takes forever to reach the thresholds that trigger them until you finish the game. By the end I apparently had some people infected (though I don't know how) and I had no idea how I was meant to check for that so I just left and got a presumably bad ending. Overall the game play is way to repetitive, the systems are just a touch too unexplained, there is no room for mistakes early and the failures make the game that much more of a slog, and the narrative and dialogue is kind of confusing.
