说实话，这是对于我来说很好玩的一个游戏了，挺怀念以前跟朋友一起打的

Just started playing this, seeing the initial word that the game was shutting down late september. I hate the needlessly temporary nature of a game like this when it shouldn't be, but I am writing this(on steam no less) to give the devs props as it does seem they genuinely are listening to community feedback, with this and it appears past issues. It was definitely a bad look to shut down even single player(multiplayer is understandable and a different beast especially with the VR niche for a smaller dev). But looking at their latest update, as long as they deliver on the offline mode I can say this is a pretty good game. From what small amount I've played, the narrative is simple but executed decently well for what it is, and the combat is pretty fun. It's a melee arena game with some soulsy influence, so it doesn't break the mold or anything, but it has some decent dodge and damage increase systems, with a few roguelike mechanics built in as well. I do plan on playing this some through the initial EOS and possibly dip in on occasion once it returns in 2023. It's still a bummer that it will go away at all before the offline mode, but I once again thank the devs for making the good decision to build that in after the fact.

This is by far one of the most solid sword fighting games I have played in VR to date. Whether your interested in a classic hack and slash or playing the game like the developers intended; Swords of Gargantua is the game for you. I enjoyed the fact that most weapons could be handled with one hand, two hands, or even be thrown (some of them come back to you) Hit boxes were where they were supposed to be, and the games pacing was on point as well. Play alone or play in a group up to 4 players, very little lag, glitches have not been seen by me. Love the game, give it a shot, totes worth the money.

It has the potential to be good, but some of the mechanics just feel really bad. Dashing feels like I'm going to hurt myself. Blocking is inconsistent and unreliable, as in sometimes it just doesn't work. If I drop my swords, they just vanish half the time, nowhere to be seen ever again.
