About

Sometimes hailed as the greatest Swords and Sandals of all time, this is the one I've always wanted to remake - and now, almost twenty years since its original launch, that dream is realised in all its vivid, bone shattering detail.
The hardest, most metal gladiator game ever made has been re-forged from the ground up, with new graphics and the most rocking soundtrack and the most brutal deaths ever seen in a Swords and Sandals game.

Swords and Sandals III Redux Core Gameplay Features
Fast paced turn-based arena combat. Fight one-on-one or in teams of two, dodge spiked pits and traps on your way to victory
Switch between redux and classic graphics at any time, from gladiators to backgrounds to shopkeepers!
Limb severing and decapitations! Sever arms and legs and keep on fighting as your gladiator finds the strength to endure
Powerful blueprints and runes to give your weapons and armour the edge in combat
Create a gladiator your way. Customize everything from height and weight to facial features and hometown, the choice is yours.
24 classic Arena Champions to do battle with, including the infamous Yeti Project
Many classes to choose, skills and talents to learn. Rain molten death from the skies, play guitar solos that shake the ground!
Defeat your enemy anyway you can. Throw your weapons, even throw discarded healing potions. Whatever it takes to win!
Re-forged using the Swords and Sandals Immortals engine. This means cooler special FX, beefier particles, more fluid animations and more epic music than ever.
Sharpen your sword, sturdy your sandals. The Gladiae Ultratus awaits!

Finally, by popular demand, you can now play as a powerful Automaton construct. These towering robotic overlords are absolute tanks and level up in a different way to regular gladiators. They are probably a little overpowered, but hey - this is Swords and Sandals, what's a little ridiculous balancing here and there?

Reviews
If you want to experience the good ol' S&S 3 in a slightly updated format. This is your go to. The game is still as unbalanced as ever, making random fights be insta-deaths, the champs be insta-wins/insta-deaths. Pure RNG at it's finest (with a small amount of control). Don't expect it to be polished, it really isn't but it captures exactly what I loved about the original from when I spent my time on Fizzy.com playing it all day after begging my dad to buy it for me :)
That damn yeti shall no longer walk this realm as long as I live..
i played the original 3 as a kid, pretty solid as far as remakes go

Good old gladiator simulator.

Mycket bra för den med hjärnceller. Inget gråtande i kasinot
I mean its alright
Doesn't hit like the older titles. Constantly dealing with Dodge spam and enemies either overheal the little damage you do or just one shot you. Due to that, getting gold to get stronger is harder to do, plus the fact that you only fight higher tier enemies way beyond your strength to progress.
Pure peak
as a fan of the franchise for well over a decade, I really wanted to enjoy this game and see it through to completion. unfortunately, it very quickly becomes a chore to play. the gameplay loop of arena fights while being spiced up with conditions and different areas, still remains repetitive, dull and largely uninteresting. the experience is being carried in its entirety by the charm of these legendary characters and a strong sense of nostalgia I think the S&S concept can completely work in today's gaming landscape, but it desperately needs some major mechanical changes. it's current format may have worked well as a Flash browser game, but for a full standalone title, it simply feels too shallow and underdeveloped
