Swan Song is a cozy puzzle game that invites you to slow down, listen, and reflect. Set inside a magical music box, each puzzle asks players to place notes on a musical scale. When you turn the key, the composition plays, activating platforms and opening paths that guide a small swan to safety.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Secret levels to find!
A cozy yet emotional soundtrack with 11 tracks, composed by Jamal Green!

Swan Song is a cozy and emotional puzzle game. Use notes of different shapes and sizes to program a music box and solve each puzzle. Help the swan reach the exit as you uncover a touching story of family, loss and grief.
Each puzzle is a piece of music waiting to be written. Place musical notes on your scale. Their position determines which platforms activate when the melody plays. Once you’ve composed your solution, turn the key and let the music guide the swan through the level.
Perfect timing and thoughtful placement are the keys to success. Between puzzles, a touching narrative slowly unfolds, revealing the story of the music box’s creator and the family it was made for.
You discover an old, mysterious music box filled with personal artifacts. This was the creator’s final masterpiece, his “swan song”. Lovingly crafted as a tribute to his family.
With every puzzle you solve, fragments of his story come to light. What happened to the family? What secrets does the box hold? Let the music lead you through a story of grief, memories & regret.
CONTENT WARNING:
Please be aware that the story of Swan Song deals with themes of death & terminal illness.
We will update Swan Song with some free updates in the months after release. These of course include some bug fixes, but we also have some additional content planned! Later this year you can expect to get your hands on the level editor, so you can create your own levels and share them on the steam workshop. This level editor will also get some updates with platforms and additional mechanics never seen in the main story! We will also be working on proper controller & better Steam Deck support. A console release of Swan Song is something we really want to do! We are working on it, but don't have an exact release plan for it yet. Stay tuned for more!

Really neat puzzles involving guiding a swan through a series of music box levels!
I really liked this little game! Gotta love a simple, self-contained idea that gets progressively taken through a bunch of clever iterations and variations. Games that do this can sometimes get a little tedious if you don't jive with some of the mechanics that are introduced or if they get a little too clever for their own good, but I didn't find that to be the case here at all. I was starting to get stuck for slightly longer on some of the puzzles around chapter 5 or 6, and walked away for a little while because I knew that if the difficulty was going to keep ramping up for the second half I'd need a bit more headspace for it. But it was actually just an isolated bump in difficulty, and once that was overcome the later chapters went back to being just a little below that threshold at most (while still remaining interesting due to the fun new variations they each revolve around). The only thing I thought would've been nice to have is the ability to see the implementation of your solution step-by-step to "debug" it, or at least to be able to really take in the state of the whole board at the step when your current solution goes awry, for it to be on screen for more than a short few seconds at the end of a whole sequence of steps you have to replay if you miss it. Minor nitpick though, overall this was a really neat little package. I was very happy with the time I spent on it, and am looking forward to seeing what the devs do next!

Swan song deceives with it's initially simple-looking puzzle mechanics. What initially feels like an easy-to-figure-out premise soon evolves into a creative and decently engaging puzzle that actually required me, a big fan of puzzle games, to think quite a bit about the solution at times. It may not reach the level of difficulty that some of the bigger contenders in the puzzle genre may present, but where the gameplay might fall short, the beautiful story and the way it is presented makes up for it. If you are only looking for a difficult puzzle challenge, this game may not be for you, but if you like casual puzzle games and narrative games about very real life experiences, then perhaps this game will be to your liking!
Fun and challenging puzzle game with a heart-wrenching story attached. Have your tissue box on stand-by before you delve into this one.

This is really the kind of game I wish I could give a thumbs sideways with but I'm giving a CONDITIONAL thumbs down because I don't think its strictly bad and I think its good for SOME players, just not me. PROS:

Excellent voice acting
Solid quiet music
Cute theme
CONS:

Puzzles are extremely unchallenging for the first half of the game
Story feels poorly executed
I got this game on a sale because I thought it looked interesting with the mechanical music box theming but it turned out to be less complex than I thought. It takes 3-ish chapters of the 9 chapter game to start giving you puzzles that don't feel like you're on autopilot, and while I actually heavily sympathize with the story of the game (Genuinely have a surprising amount in common with the main character), I really feel like it was told in an order that lessens the emotional impact-
Like because the first two chapters are extremely easy and you immediately are thrust into the mother dying, you don't have enough time to build up a fondness for the characters. It feels cheap, like its trying to gut punch you without winding up.
. Halfway through the game I started to like it more and thought the puzzles were okay, but overall I would call the game middling, especially if you are someone who REALLY likes puzzles. If you want a casual puzzle game with a sad story and don't mind it being easy, then its perfect. If you want something more, go look somewhere else tbh.
