Aaaand...it’s gone. Thanks Paradox...apparently the real survival challenge was keeping the game I already bought.
Avoid this company like the plague. Relaunching the same game as a new game is a greedy way to do business.
Love the idea of the game. Hate the care-free aproach of the company (dunno which one is responsible for major decisions) It's full of bugs, Below & Beyond is fine untill it's unplayable (you cannot move resources between caves and surface, nor between rockets and asteroid bases so u loose items on them) I still have fun playing it, But I will never pay for the abandoned beta version that is the release of Surviving Mars Relaunched.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Wait a second... I already owned this game. They "relaunched" the game I already own, and I'm supposed to buy it again? I liked this game, and understood that it needed work and was looking forward to when they would iron some things out. Now I'm supposed to pay full price for what is essentially a patch?!
Utterly disrespectful publisher. Completely done with Paradox after this.
The recent move by Paradox, who hold many titles that I love, is one of the most greedy and customer neglient actions I have ever seen. Borderline fraud and manipulation.
I can't believe you essentially soft locked us out of our game...bro the work I put into this for you to just take it away with no pay off to us as a sorry is crazy
Paradox was making good games but at some point they changed their strategy and decided to make DLCs that breaks gameplay and basically force you to keep buying DLCs to fix it. End result is a game that is constantly changing and you need to keep learning how to play. If you don't mind that then it is fine. Latest idea is to abandon a game and then do a relaunch and charge for the same game again, as is this one. I have this game, but they relaunched it, abandon macOS, and decided to charge for only 50% if you already own a game. So expectation is to buy the same game with minor bug fixes for 50% discount? I am not THAT stupid.
those bastards removed game from store to sell it again for x2 not able to buy aby dlc now
I’m leaving this review on the original release because people need to understand the history here before spending a dime. When Haemimont Games built this, it had genuine craft behind it. Then Paradox Interactive handed development over to Abstraction Games to push out the Below and Beyond DLC. That transition gutted the simulation: drone task queues scrambled, colonist logic fell apart, and base game files got butchered even for people who didn't buy the expansion. After minimal, half-hearted patching, Paradox simply abandoned the title and left the community to fix critical bugs themselves through workshop scripts. Fast-forward, and instead of ever delivering a proper stability pass for the game we already paid for, they rolled out Surviving Mars: Relaunched. I took one look at the player reports and skipped it entirely: it’s the exact same foundation, missing the community fixes, but bundled with a fresh batch of engine bugs, broken supply lines, and performance hitches. Abandoning an unpolished product only to repackage it under a "remastered" banner to squeeze money out of existing players is shamelessly predatory. Neither Paradox as a publisher nor the studios handling this IP will be seeing another cent from me.
