What is stopping them from doing this to their other titles? will never buy paradox games again.
They just dont give a flying fck about this, bc they want you to purchase the "relaunch" IMO I think everyone that has this game and DLC's should be able to get a refund on this game regardless the time passed and hours played. Playing on a bugged game with bugged dlc's is no fun

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

They removed this game to promote a rerelease. Greedy Devs, Greedy Publishers, Greedy Company. Don't waste your money on buying the game. If you own the old game, Pirate the Rerelease. Don't support this bs.
So you bought this game, they took your money, used that money to create an "updated" version and sell the game over again as a "relaunch" promising new updates and removed the game you paid for from the store. Its not even Surviving Mars II, its just the same game I paid for with additional stuff that could just be a free update or a paid DLC dropped into the game I already own. Instead of patching in the new visuals, the reworked expansions, and the 'Martian Assembly' system for the people who already backed this game, they boxed it up as a 'Relaunch' and put a price tag on it.
Paradox, just do the right thing and give the new game to those of us who already bought it.
The game industry is a joke Give the Relaunched version to your original game owners like what are you doing.
Just NO - Paradox is a cancer - they ruin everything they touch. This was a decent game until Paradox DLC'd & rebranded it in an attempt to con gamers into buying same product twice. The DLC's contain content that should have been fixes and updates to base game. Don't reward bad behaviour - keep your money for a better game and from a reputable Dev.
It’s honestly disappointing to see this new trend where companies “retire” a game, stop supporting it, and then re‑release essentially the same product under a "new" name — expecting players to buy it again. Surviving Mars Remastered is exactly that situation. The one simple action that could have redeemed this whole decision would have been to offer the Remastered version free to players who already owned Surviving Mars. That would have shown respect for long‑time supporters and kept goodwill intact. Instead, they chose the “buy it again” route. Not because the game is new. But because, apparently, offering it for free would be unthinkable. This kind of money‑grabbing double‑dip is becoming more common and more shameless across the industry. Companies release a game, abandon it, then repackage it and expect players to pay twice for the same experience. It’s a terrible precedent, and it’s frustrating to see it becoming the norm. Surviving Mars was a great game, however I do not feel like supporting the scam.
The publisher is a greedy scamer :(
