bro what the actual ♥♥♥♥ is this game? i have never ever played such a horrendous game in my life
Muy divertido juego de estrategia y comunicación, recomendado para jugar con gente y para quienes disfrutan del juego en equipo.
The game is not at all user friendly. I became a football manager instead of being a player. Because each player turn proceeds with 4 round of actions and its not fun to wait, especially when the possession is with the teammate or an opponent. I know its turn based and that how you can be a player, but I would rather prefer to be a manager and watch them play in this scenario. Then I had to make some initial decisions of what will be my preferred playing hours and select available dates in a week - selected something. But later when it asked me to register for a tournament, I saw I can only register for some tournaments, most of them were not having register icon to click. Some of them were daily events and some were once a week events - but when I clicked on those weekly events it said it was a daily event and that was frustrating and an example of poor UI design. Definitely the developers are thinking something in their mind but its not communicated to the users in the right way. So I decided to make myself available for daily events and tried looking for settings to change it and so far I couldn't find it anywhere. Then I had to move on and try selecting random available events and try clicking on register for events and was able to find one that is open to register but it game me a new problem - Obviously, I started with zero players in my squad - had to use discord to hire players, but the problem is discord is very quite and not a lot of players are interacting. Waited for players to respond and only one player applied in the last 24 hrs. So decided to look into transfer market and that's messier than anything. Some players have wages written on the left-hand side of the interface, some have it on the right-hand side. I couldn't differentiate if those are the player's existing wage or if it's their wage demands. Some were available for 14 days trial, some were available for end of season contract (I couldn't even register for a spot in the any tournament, so technically I have no idea what am I paying for when it was saying End of Season contract). I had limited budget of 500k but players were asking 20k-80k wage, is it paid daily or a season, I don't know. I paid what they asked for because I want to try the game as a manager so I dont care if I'm bankrupt after 4 matches. At least I tried the game before uninstalling. So far 1 player signed through transfer market and 1 player signed through discord and the minimum requirement is 3 players to register for the tournament. 2.6 hrs of gameplay just doing that, plus 24+hrs of waiting in discord. Uninstalled for sure.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There are no available servers and no player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This weird dumbed down football club manager-esque "I can't believe it's not a mobile app" thing is a glorified browser game where you would engage in "tactical" sports "battles" against other players if there were any, but it looks like the developer put monetisation and greed before, you know, trying to have a successful game that gamers would enjoy. And of course it failed. So, Super Club Soccer is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
