I am not going to refund this game as I like to help small or independent developers like this one, but I can say this game is not worth the $2 asking price. Maybe the $0.75 I paid, but definitely not full price. This game is simple in many ways. The mall is just a big square, you have a shopping list of pop culture items such as the Home Alone movie, Nirvana CDs, Super Nintendo, etc. You are tasked with running around the mall looking for these items to buy and then escaping the mall without getting mugged and your money stolen. There are NPCs who will chase you and mug you for X amount of dollars. If your wallet hits $0 you lose the game. There are ATMs that you can collect money from by just running up and pressing E however. I was hoping there would be more to this game such as little quests you would be sent on, or NPCs would talk to you. Nope, it's just running around the store avoiding the muggers, looking for the five or so items on your shopping list, and getting out of there! I played the classic version and the new one. The newer one is a bit different, but mostly just aesthetically. I beat both the classic and newer version in 26 minutes... So like I said, I want to support small and indie developers, but this game just ain't it chief

I stumbled upon this game after looking up "hot air balloon" in the steam search bar, looking for a game that I heard about a long time ago and may not even really exist. I found myself looking at this magenta-cyan monstrosity and wondering what it had to offer. After playing for a few hours on this lazy afternoon, I have to say that stumbling upon this game in the furthest recesses of Steam while looking for something else that might not exist is an exact parallel to the gameplay. The UI is a pixelated parody of Windows 95, the gameplay is unpaced and largely pointless, there are places where it seems like an easter egg should exist but it's just missing. Even the site for the game has one single product, and a dozen links that don't go anywhere. The game itself has links to several YouTube channels, several social media accounts, several outside sources like wikis. Most of them don't go anywhere either. The YouTube channel that does exist seems to be made by the developer of a completely different game. All in all, I wouldn't be surprised if I wake up tomorrow to find that this strange, empty, joyful, adventurous, vaporwave pile of features without content was just a fever dream. Makes for a pleasant, if confusing, afternoon. 8.5/10
This is absolutely great! It's a mall game, which it's hard to find games like this. I love it and the easter eggs, recommended! 10/10
Fun and quirky game where you'e at the mall with a shopping list of 5 items (always randomized) and a limited budget. But be wary of the thugs who will beat you up and steal some of your money
Game needs to fix the interaction key, can't purchase stuff most of the time. Needs to have a more indepth tutorial as just expecting people to wander off aimlessly and know right away what to do, isn't fun. Also, wouldn't hurt to have a mouse sensitivity option.
The game has a nice Aesthetic to me, and it's recent 2024 update adds A LOT of content! But beside that, the Dev will actually listen to the players, and fix things they find are broken, or aren't working as they should! If you like the Vaporwave Aesthetic, you should totally pick this up, and support the Dev! Yes, I said DEV, cause this game is a one-man operation, which makes it even better to be supporting the little guys!
Super simple but I like it. It's basically a shopping simulator where you have to avoid muggers in a vaporwave inspired world. I see a lot of potential for future updates even If I feel like a lot of the DLC content should be included with the game for free.
The game is really simple but very fun. There is a ton of hidden content, and the dev is constantly working on the game. If you join the discord, they'll be very receptive to critiques, suggestions, and bugs.
