"Summon Masters" is a fair online turn-based strategy card game, allowing players to formulate their own decks with various cards for free battles.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Wait 1 hour to open a chest, must wait to open another or pay gold which increases for each 1 you open. Enough said
Upon rank 3100 or T9 progression (~10hr playtime) suddenly all opponents have +10 more health than me. their cards have way more stats and their upgraded legendaries can wipe my whole squad. besides that, whats the point on playing when there is a 8 to 12 hours wait to open a chest and you only have 4 slots for them ? Very limited P2W title.
Every week they have extremely expensive cash shop events. This is extreme $4000/mo mobile level p2w. On top of that there are lots of bugs. The cash shop is going to scam you out of money. You'll buy things and not receive them. That's what happened for me to the tune of $100 with no recourse to chargeback or get the money back. The developer also cannot be reached. There are gameplay bugs as well, typos, and random things that are not translated. Do not play this.

Edit: Install Cards & Castles 2 - it's free and better in every sense possible! --- One of the very few DCG boardgames that the game should have more of. It's lane based autobattler combined with constant progression mechanics. Your deck is most certainly better the following day that it is today due to the early reward mechanics. You will build a deck of 30 cards with max two copies of the same card, excluding legendaries that you can have one copy of. The cards are either units or spells. Majority of your deck will always consist of units. You have three lanes and can summon your units in the first three squares on any of these. You don't have any mana but instead the cards have cooldown timer. Every turn every single card on your hand will get -1 turn on the cooldown and when it's 0, you can play the card. You don't have to though. Your maximum hand size is 6. On turn 16 on you will draw two cards and from turn 31 fatigue mechanic kicks in. I've never seen a game past turn 20. +Great mechanics; cooldown mechanic instead of mana is fantastic not to mention the plethora of keywords and tons of different units +There's constantly something to do -> plenty of ways to improve your collection -Dev. is in full Chinese mode and has flooded these reviews with fake reviews; this isn't one of them. EDIT (at the time of uninstall): You will play mostly against bots; bots that soon ridiculously over level your cards - opponent having +2-3 level legendaries, +3-4 level epics and +4-5 level commons is just ridiculous and ruins the experience -> this is the pay-/grindwall. -The game doesn't tell you where your units would move / how far they can reach -> you'll just have to learn that melee range is 1-2 and ranged units have +X attack range that's past that and that units will always attempt to stay at max range -Very pay to win, however you can enjoy the game for tens of hours without feeling it -Horrible UX/UI experience; some menus close from left corner "back"; some from "X" on right side; changing resolution automatically closes the game - including if you choose the resolution you already have chosen -> full-screen doesn't work for me at all (there isn't an option for it but in the in-game chat some people say alt+enter works for them; not me) - Horrible UX/UI experience #2: There's also gazillion different menus and resources in very "Korean" mobile game way -I would have supported the dev. by purchasing the $0,99 "first purchase", but I cannot even get any UI open to do that -> it just attempts to load something on the screen, that won't appear -Timed chest mechanics are always meh and utterly mobile -Your double time chest mechanic timer keeps running while you are away from the game even if you aren't opening a chest -> rewards for few hours of that is just pointless -Some lousy translation / typos even ...yet I STILL do consider the game mechanics are proper. The early game is certainly enjoyable. Having ~15 hours of enjoyable gameplay for free isn't a bad deal at all, but I cannot recommend the game due to the infernal grind / pay to win it throws your way.
SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THIS GAME FOR A SET PRICE WITH 0 PAY TO WIN AND ONLY COSMETIC IN GAME PURCHASES! IF THE WORLD MADE CRYPTOZOO WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET THIS DONE. UPDATE 04/13/2024 Honest question for the devs. Why do you have to be so greedy and exploitative of your fan base? My nephew is 11 years old and you make it so he can't win unless he pay's money. Most games have pay to win but at least your playing real rich people. This game pairs you against BOTS who use copies of the top ten decks. As if getting a deck from a top ten player wasn't an advantage enough they also boost the cards 3 levels higher that your average. What that means is you can use the same exact deck and still have little chance of winning. The difference in 3 levels is massive. Your card drops as a 2/6 they drop at 3/9 lmao. Plus at least one ability is upgraded as well. You have armor 2 they get armor 3. This could be a fun game but as is even my nephew said "They made it fun at first to get me hooked unc. Now they make it impossible for me to win without money." He still does his daily's and talks to some clan mates on here but we both play Kings Call together now. That's the game this game stole everything from. It's also pay to win but bot battles aren't nearly as unfair. UPDATE 02/23/2024 EXACTLY LIKE I SAID MY NEPHEW IS NOW ADDICTED TO THIS GAME AND ALREADY GOT $5 FROM ME FOR "a very exclusive limited deal that usually cost 600% more"!!!!! I left the game running yesterday when I left my house and now the kid done took over my computer. He keeps telling me he's ranked 60 something in the world and he's "busting these chumps up" lmao. It's funny for now but just so you know as soon as he paid his $5 for that super limited exclusive pack another instantly popped up. This time you only get one hour to buy it or it's gone forever. I'm going to allow my nephew to keep playing because he likes it so much but I will be using this game to teach him how games try to exploit children. I hate leaving a very negative review on his new favorite game but the greed and prices in this game are some of the most egregious I've seen yet. However I have to be honest. I mentioned people not getting things they paid for in my original review. That wasn't the case with my nephew. He showed me he got exactly what he paid for. Edit after doing some research. DEV wants people to pay $1000 as a day two quest. It has to be completed in the first week LMFAO! The worst part is people bought packs they didn't even receive. Also just look at the reviews. I found at least 15 reviews that are guaranteed fake. All of them have 6 reviews and they all reviewed the same 6 games LMFAO! This isn't a game. It's a way to get children hooked until they have to beg or rob their parents just to be competitive. WHY IS THIS GAME ALWAYS P2W! The first dev to make this game for a set base price WITH 0 monetization will be a very wealthy individual. You can even add dlc or cosmetics if you want more money but paying for wins has to stop. This game has been made at least 20 times. It's always a carbon copy of all the games before it. It was Kings and Legends or Rise of Mythos on Kongregate. On Steam it's Kings Call, Deck Defenders, Kings of Legions and now Summon Masters. That's just the few off the top of my head. At least this game changed the artwork but that's not enough for me to start over again. I would happily pay $20 for this game, stream it and help promote it IF it was FAIR and they didn't force monetization down players throats. This free game that was stolen from someone else has a $15 battle pass!
It's quite easy to get started with in the early stages of the game, and some rewards are also good, which can quickly accumulate strength. I have always liked games related to the Three Kingdoms genre, and I think this one is pretty good.
Would love to try this game but many issues. MUSIC is so loud and can not get to settings to turn it down for 1. NOT in English. 2 the game gets to 100% and does nothing i waited 30 mins on 100% and have tried 4-5 times the game just does not work
The game is fun but somewhat pay to win and some of the bugs get annoying.
