What an awesome platformer. Perfect combination of challenge and pacing + bonus of some sweet music. Being a dad, the game is perfect for playing a few levels/challenges at the end of the day after getting the kid to bed. Love it and looking forward to my third replay
good
A wonderful little Celeste-like precision platformer; indeed, very Celeste-like in that it’s a relatively difficult, emotional 2D pixel art platformer about climbing a mountain. However, the controls feel very different, the jump weightier, and it’s a much slower, more deliberate game, which is ironic considering it’s got a rather moreish speedrunning mode. Each screen is a platforming puzzle to be solved, some requiring pixel perfect jumps. The quick respawns, which occur on a screen-by-screen basis, offset any potential frustration. New mechanics are added over the short runtime, keeping things fresh, fun and challenging. The story is sweet and sad, although it’s considerably less sophisticated and nuanced than the likes of Celeste. However, it certainly adds narrative motivation to get to the top of that (literal and metaphorical) mountain. The controls are tight, although the movement (especially the jump, which is highly sensitive to how long you hold the button) takes some getting used to. I also find that the odd input is ‘missed’ here and there, although it sort of feels like you’re missing your foot or handhold, as opposed to the game being unfair (at least, to me). Oh, the music is rather lovely, and the main character sprite, and the pixel art generally, utterly charming. I like this game, a lot, and it’ll be among my games of the year. (I’m still playing this, continually improving my climb time up the mountain. My first climb took about 75 minutes, my most recent, 17 minutes).

Tentei jogar...
Fun platformer that doesn't let things get stale
take everything i say with a HUGE grain of salt as i have not played an actual platformer since i was 10 years old playing super mario world on my gameboy advanced. this game was quite fun! i rolled this game off of challenge enthusiasts which gave me 24 hours to complete all achievements in this game. it was definitely a little stressful which didn't exactly help with my overall experience, but hey we got it done. its a short game you could beat in probably 30 minutes if ur very experienced with platformers, for me it took 46 minutes on my first go. overall all the mechanics in the game work great. i really liked the crow and wished there was a few more screens that used it but oh well. the flawless run was hard, especially for me. it took another 8 hours of attempts/learning to get it done. i wish i could have just picked it up in a few days but yknow... deadline. besides that the rest of the achievements are pretty easy. i took my SWEET time with the flawless run and still finished it in 13 minutes. looking at the lb there's 2 people with a time under 7:30 so you got plenty of time for the 15 minute run. as i stated above: take my criticisms with a grain of salt i have not played platformers. i wish you could somewhat buffer jumps like you can with grab. it did feel frustrating when you would press right before a jump just to watch your character run into a spike. more crow levels!!! you made a really cool mechanic and used it in a handful of rly easy levels, give him more screentime!!! please add a way to skip the intro cutscene. i probably did 150 ish runs (i mean i suck but thats besides the point) multiply that by 16 and divide by 60 you get 37 minutes of cutscene i watched. i could not tell what the actual hitbox of the character is, the coat makes him really bulky. i realize there is plenty of forgiveness (thank you) but its still just hard to tell how close you can make a jump. the ice goes from 0-100 realllllllllly fast. make it maybe just a tiny bit slower (this one im 50/50 on) and a bug i noticed was that your settings dont save if you use the speedrun option instead of newgame. anyways was a good bit of fun!
初見で30分でクリアーできたので、ガッツリ系を求めるのなら他のゲームのほうが良いかも? キャラクターはストレスなく動かせし、トゲの判定もシビアではないので、 サックリ系の精密プラットフォームに手を出したいならおすすめです
Great platformer. Super intuitive controls and challenging enough but not crazy. Great game!
Lovely game, outstanding music. Feels so good every time you get it right. Bit on the shorter side of things but they say good things come in small quantities.
Bom jogo, lembra o estilo de celeste, se você é fã desse jogo como eu vai ter pelo menos uma hora de diversão garantida.
