Street Arena

It reminds me of GTA2, cutting class and first beer. It was good times, this game is also good ;)

Verily at the first Chaos came to be, but next came slaughter, crazy weapons and stolen cars. Everything would be great, but the controls are not fully optimized especially for the game pad. After all it's pretty good, solid game.

My co-workers and I loved playing GTA2 multiplayer after a hard day's work at the MSP, so when I saw this game last year I was immediately 'in'. I bought it for myself and my co-workers. We have yet to play it. :( I did check it out for several minutes and can say that it has potential. The devs are on the right track to having a great, old-school, GTA2-style deathmatch game here but it's just not quite there yet. The controller-based controls are dreadful, the driving feels like the wheels are placed directly in the middle of the vehicle, and the silly swearing gets old. What I did like was the amount of weapons, the graphics are an improvement over GTA2, the inclusion of radio stations when you're in a car, seemed like there were plenty of different model cars to choose from as well. No one was playing on the one server that showed in the server list when I decided to try this out, but I know if the devs put some polish on this game and release regular patches they'd have a hit!
