Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Strategic Command - WWII: War in the Pacific and its flagship 1941 Day of Infamy campaign comes with an impressive 36,000 hex map, providing you with the opportunity to wage war from India and Burma in the west, via the Dutch East Indies, Malaya, the Philippines, Guadalcanal, the Kokoda Trail, Iwo Jima, Tarawa and Midway to the west coast of North America, at an approximately 80km/50mi scale.
The flagship campaign begins with the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on the 7th December 1941 and the rapid expansion of Japan’s Empire into South East Asia and the Pacific.
As Japanese carriers strike Pearl Harbor, Allied forces across the Pacific and Southeast Asia face attacks from Hong Kong to New Guinea. Simultaneously, Chinese and Japanese forces clash for control of China.
Strategic Command - WWII: War in the Pacific offers the opportunity to command the forces of 7 major powers, including Japan, Australia, China, the USA, UK, and USSR. Engage in battles spanning both land and sea, from Okinawa to Burma, and experience the conflict through immersive 3-D unit graphics or NATO counters as Japan strives to seize resources and weaken Allied fleets and armies.
There are 5 quick-to-Play Mini-Campaigns, from the Soviet-Japanese clash at Khalkhin Gol in 1939 to the climactic invasion of Manchuria in 1945:
1939 Khalkhin Gol – Nomonhan – Soviet and Japanese forces clash for a second time in the east.
1942-43 Solomons Campaign – the US begins its campaign to fight back against Japan. US Marines under the command of Vandegrift have landed on Guadalcanal, and a major battle is about to begin.
1944 The Marianas Campaign – the US launches Operation Forager with amphibious landings on Saipan, Tinian and Guam, with the aim of securing these locations prior to the liberation of the Philippines.
1945 Iwo Jima – US forces have been ordered to capture this island, only 750 miles from Japan. The Japanese defenders have been subjected to several days of bombardment by the US navy, however they are well dug in and US Marines will be needed to defeat them.
1945 August Storm – The Soviet Union invades Manchuria in the final battle of the Second World War. After years of neglect, the once-mighty Kwantung Army faces overwhelming odds in their efforts to defend some of Japan’s oldest conquests.
Six immersive Campaigns take you through key periods in the Pacific theater of World War II. Every campaign promises competition and replayability, with Victory Conditions varying from time-based tasks to conquering territory.
New gameplay elements, introducing Airfields as a new resource type with unique rules, and experiencing iconic events like the Doolittle Raid. Navigate changing naval supply rules with the introduction of Naval Construction, also known as Seabees.

好玩,有中国战役
Best strategy serie, this is the last improvement in lot of aera. very good immersion in the PW. You need logistical talent and a plan !
I'm not particularly good at it, but I love both this game and its DLC. It's fun to really focus on PTO rather than treat it as second fiddle as in a WaW game. Very challenging as Axis, perhaps less so as Allies, but then that's how the actual conflict went, too.

Love it
IA weak and "stupid". When IA plays US, it always follow the same routes with their fleet so, once you have played Japan, you know where to find and destry them again. Another example: modifying with editor the 1941 infamy scenario by adding for Japan 1 carrier + 4 landing boat on hexes just aside Hawaii island, IA playing Japan doesn't invade Hawaii on its first turn ?!
Started playing this weekend after watching a play through about War in the Pacific Admirals Edition (2009). Strategic Command WWII: War in the Pacific is a very tense and addictive game. Playing with the AI on expert Difficulty. The AI does a great job and it is very challenging experience. I'm in mid 1943 and can see a challenge in every theater. A big difference between normal setting and Expert. This would proved to be a tough game against a human opponent. You have to manage priorities and set goals for all theaters. Elected to play this game since I know Witp AE has a steep learning curve and a big time commitment. Will at some point have to rip that band aid off and get the Witp AE out of my system. Waiting for the next sale to pick up the game. No point in paying more than I have too. Kevin

Dobrá tahová hra. Nekupujte za plnou cenu. Lépe hrát s protivníkem , než s AI.
this is very complex to play but most enjoyable for all that . :)
