Storysmith is a live, AI-driven choose-your-own-adventure built for streamers. You set the premise before you go live — genre, your character, any twist you want thrown in — and the AI writes the opening scene. From there, chat votes on what happens next by typing !1, !2, !3, whatever number matches the option they want. Tallies stay hidden until the timer runs out, so nobody just piles onto whatever's already winning. Then the numbers flip, the winning choice gets locked in, and the AI writes what actually happens — which isn't always what chat expected.

That's the part that matters most: chat picks the action, not the outcome. Vote to pick the lock and you might get through clean, or set off an alarm nobody saw coming. The AI decides the consequence, so every choice carries real risk and the story stays unpredictable even for you, reading it live.

Each run is a self-contained arc, building toward an actual ending instead of dragging on forever. Pick your difficulty going in: Hard means death ends the run for good, Medium gives you a handful of lives spent through an in-world recovery moment the story sets up early — a healer, a cloning chamber, whatever fits the genre you picked — and Easy just narrates you out of trouble and keeps going. The recovery isn't a generic stat refill; it's written into the story itself.

Runs on a bundled local AI model — no subscription, no account, no per-session cost. Everything happens on your own machine, offline if you want it.

Turn on the narrator and a voice reads every scene aloud as it generates, with multiple voice options to match your stream's tone. Same starting premise, same character, a completely different chat every time — no two runs play out the same way.
