Entertaining and satisfying high-octane speedrun type of a game, fun for casual players who just wants to complete the game too.
The DEMO was grate, but since the game has been out it hasen't worked. I kept it in case they fixed it, but the game has allways had terrible optimization issues that wheren't in the demo.
Very fun Ghostrunner-like game. Especially worth it on a discount.
Platform 3D super veloce e particolare da giocare assolutamente. Consiglio
A blistering fast pace dares to ask the question what if you could get real wild with the Gravity Gun. Stop Dead encourages speed and style in an action game that demands from you the kind of execution that feels ludicrously satisfying to pull off. You'll be hooked by your first S Rank.
https://youtu.be/7EfIaPEXNa0 Additional mechanics to punish slow players doesn't elevate the speed trial parkour more than other games in the genre.
This game is a super fun speedrun-bait (or however this new emerging genre is called) and it plays sort of like a mix between Ghostrunner and Half-Life 2 levels revolging around physics gun. it has a very unique visual style, an interesting premise, good game feel, and when it all works, it works so well. Things are just so satisfyingly snappy and impact-ful. It gives you a great feeling of being this out of control glass cannon, moving at a 100 miles per hour, destroying enemies in your path, constantly on the edge of steering out of control and crashing. However, there's a lot of things that need improvement. Firstly, yes, there are some bugs here, which is to be expected. Most are minor, but there was a very odd one where the first real boss the game has wouldn't play a death animation upon defeat. They were just stuck there for me, in the middle of the arena, and I could pump more bullets into them and watch blood spats come out. Next, the longer the game goes on, the more nois-y and unreadable the visuals get with all the effects and flashing lights. It can be an absolute nightmare when you have a lot of enemies firing, objects exploding, smoke erupting. On quite a few occassions I died and didn't know what even killed me (well, the game shows you the enemy that killed you, but it's of little help when it happened so quickly you can't tell what you even did wrong). Lastly, some levels have some infuriating design decisions. There's a level where you have to face off against ninjas, but first there is a long section with no enemies and no challenges where you are just running through the location. Considering how quickly the ninjas can kill you, it can be extremely annoying to have to run back from the start of the level over and over again. Also, some levels have innocent civilians you're not allowed to kill. Which is also just so nightmarish, because it's very easy to not notice them in the chaos, it's very easy for them to die accidentally due to some of your attacks. And also, their skin usually has the same red-ish tint that your main target of each mission has, so it's also just very easy to assume they're the target when you're flying through the level. Honestly, I feel like they shouldn't be in the game. This is a title all about being fast and killing enemies. Having NPCs whose death is an instant game over goes against those instincts, as it instructs you to actually be careful, slow down, see what's in front of you, all while you have to keep running because the game auto-kills if you stop moving. Lastly, I hate how easy it is to telekinetically grab an object, throw it, and then accidentally pull it back into your hands before it kills your intended target. Again, minor gripe, but gosh it sure gets annoying when I am hastily trying to grab a new weapon from the battlefield, and instead I summon a box I've just thrown at enemy's head.
