"Stellar Survivor" is an abandoned Early Access student project from Breda.... and as a professional training institute, you would expect they would teach students to finish their damned games before publishing them. This is an exceptional failure from Breda, and given they permitted this, indeed, endorsed it and are responsible for it, game dev students may want to think twice before applying there. Abandoned Early Access games pollute Steam, give indie devs a bad name, and are bad for everyone. This was a promising looking FPS, who doesn't love blasting aliens? So in this case it's a big shame Breda did the wrong thing and dumped unfinished software onto Steam and walked away from it. The developers abandoned this 5 years and 6 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

Takie 2 na 10. Trochę przywołuje na myśl FPS Tower defence jakim jest meridian i podobne. Ale darmowe i wygląda ładnie.
enemies kill turrets through walls pls fix
its very small but i think it can become a really fun popular game in the future
Stellar Survivor Positives: + A mixture of tower defense and fps + Ok graphics + Ok music + Its free Negatives: - Completely broken game in general - Retarded AI at best (dosent attack you, but your traps or what once were traps, runs ridiculously, and stands mostly still) - No point in setting up traps or auto weapons, they will get destroyed instantly, even behind walls, or just dissappear - "Pricing" of equipment makes no sense at all (the prices change all the time) - 3 weak weapons to use with almost instant cooldown - Very small maps (3 in total if you count the tutorial) - Game breaking bugs and errors - Annoying enemy sounds that will repeat forever until you have killed them all (100+) - Framerate issues that comes and goes - 2 game modes: one large horde of enemies (almost "playable" at best) and survive 20 enemy waves (just utter tendious garbage) - Extremely boring, no fun at all - Very monotonus and repetitive - Out of this world tendious to play - If you want to complete the game (if it dosent break that is), 2.5 hours will feel like a lifetime This game is so broken, it should be taken of steam. To call this early access, is an insult to early access games. And its now been 5 years since it got that status, so its completely abandoned (understandably enough). Its just utter garbage, so avoid at all costs! Total Score: 2/10

No intro or anything no idea whats really happening I have to say even though its early access and a student project its really rough around the edges It works do not get me wrong its playable but beyond passably working its not very enjoyable it feels like its a glorified mobile game made FPS and to be honest its not all that fun the more waves that go on the harder the game gets and you cant make it easier even with the things you can build because you don't get enough crystals and your weapons do almost zero damage I do however love the ships that spawn in the enemies they are cool and visually the game looks great its the rest of the game elements that are letting it down. The run speed and animation are way off what they should be making the movement janky and this also seems to be for the enemies as well they look weird like they are trying to sprint but only going half the speed. The only way to win a mode is to use walls since it breaks there AI and they cant break through the walls and the reward for beating a mission is just a plain boring Mission complete text. Really not very polished other than the textures and assets.
Interessante Idee, lohnt sich aber (noch) nicht
