Reviews
This is a great sequel to a great game, if you like mining, please give this game a go. It just does everything so well, I really do think they made an amazing game with this one.
Muito bom. Super divertido e recomendo demais.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a short but fun game. If you like mining and exploration games, you should definitely give this one a try, the only bad thing I can point out is probably that the main story is a bit short, since you can finish it in around 7 hours. Still, the mining mechanics and upgrading stuff are simple and addicting, and overall, it's a really good game.
I've played this game a lot on my Switch, like Steamworld Dig 1. I bought them both in a bundle on sale cause why not, I like Steamworld Heist and Quest, and this looks like a fun lil' game to lose a few hours in. I beat Dig 1 in maybe a day or two, and didn't play more. Satisfied with what I had played, I launched Dig 2, and I now consider it one of my favourite games of all time. I put this game up there with others like Dishonored 2 or Kingdom Hearts II, this is a genuinely perfect sequel in every way. It is an elevation of its predecessor and expands the gameplay while also innovating the older mechanics. It doesn't take away anything that made the one before it good, it's using the same blueprint with more notes and improvements. Portal 2, Pillars of Eternity 2, and Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are other sequels I consider in similar leagues. Which is funny cause they all start with 'P'. The map is larger and has more things to do on the surface as well as underground, the biomes really pop with the art style, the puzzle and the level design as always is peak and makes you feel smart or creative while giving you sick loot, progression is constantly rewarding at a VERY satisfying pace with upgrades, exploration is fun and only improves as you get better gear, enemies are just better than Dig 1 across the board with more variety and interesting ways of dealing with them, the story is crazy and hooks you in as always with funny characters just like every Steamworld game. THERE'S A POST-GAME. The most Dig 1 had in terms of replayability was gunning for the medals. In Dig 2, there's just also MORE GAME after game has concluded game-ening. so yea i really like it. 7/10 too much dirt or something idk
