Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Title: Star Wars Battlefront (2015)
(UNOBTAINABLE ACHIEVEMENTS*) (Technically, all of the achievements are still obtainable but with the current population of this game. Some will be near impossible such as playing every game mode. I modded it so I could launch whatever game mode with me and one friend despite it normally having higher requirements.*) Summary: Multiplayer Sci-fi FPS Personal notes: Star Wars Battlefront (2015) is EA's reboot of the classic Battlefront series. In this game you can fight as either the Rebels or the Empire, all while using many familiar weapons and vehicles. Plus you get to take control of some of the series' most recognizable characters such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo or Boba Fett! I originally played this game back on release on the Xbox and I had a blast TBH. Reliving my childhood memories in an upgraded environment was great fun, especially with my friends. Coming back to it years later on steam, I am meet with the same battlefields but they are now sadly barren. This game has a pretty heavy focus on the original trilogy, taking you across iconic locations like Hoth, Endor, Tatooine, and Sullust. Unlike the older Battlefront games though, this one doesn't include a singleplayer campaign and is almost entirely focused on multiplayer which was a poor choice in my opinion. The gameplay is pretty good overall though. The shooting is easy to learn and you can hop right in and have a pretty good time without having to spend a lot of time learning mechanics. The large scale battles however, are easily the highlight of this game. Running around Hoth while AT-STs and AT-ATs are fighting in the distance, jumping into an X-Wing, or suddenly running into Darth Vader can create some really cool Star Wars moments. There are also quite a few different multiplayer modes, ranging from smaller infantry fights to much larger objective-based battles. Battlefront (2015) does have a decent amount of variety, although how much of it you can actually experience today depends heavily on finding other players. That's where the biggest problem with Battlefront comes in. The game is heavily dependent on its population. There are some offline Missions and Survival modes, but these are fairly limited and don't really provide enough content to replace a proper single-player campaign. The smaller player base makes this even more noticeable today. You can still find some matches but they are far and few between. This is pretty disappointing to me knowing that a decent chunk of the game is basically inaccessible simply because there aren't enough people playing anymore. Moving on to visuals, Battlefront still looks really good! The environments are detailed and do a great job recreating the locations from the original trilogy. Even years later, this is one of those games where you can stop for a second and appreciate how good it looks. The audio is just as impressive. The blasters, explosions, vehicles, character sounds, and music all sound straight out of Star Wars(as it should). Hearing the soundtrack kick in during a big battle does a lot for the atmosphere, and the sound design is one of the biggest reasons the game still feels authentic. Achievement-wise, this game was a little tedious when it released, and the smaller player base has made it quite a bit worse. A lot of the achievements require grinding out specific modes, objectives, and progression milestones. None of them are particularly difficult on their own, but without having the people to start said game modes, they are essentially unobtainable. If you somehow manage to find 40-ish other people to play I applaud you + you should HMU! All things considered, Star Wars Battlefront is still a decent Star Wars game, but it's definitely showing its age. The gameplay is fun and the presentation is fantastic, but the lack of a campaign and shrinking player base hold it back quite a bit today. Battlefront II is also still much more populated and, in my opinion, is simply the better game in most areas. If you're looking for a Star Wars multiplayer experience, I'd recommend going with Battlefront II instead. I would only recommend this game to those who are big Star Wars fans and specifically want to experience the original Battlefront, especially if you have friends to play with. Time it took to complete: 89hrs Most difficult achievement(s): - In a galaxy far, far away... (Win one match in each multiplayer game mode in the original game) - The circle is now complete (Get to Rank 100) - Crush them with one swift stroke... (Trample 25 soldiers with an AT-ST in multiplayer) Difficulty rating: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆ 7/10 Overall rating: ★★★★★★☆☆☆☆ 6/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I remember the morning of December 25, 2015 and when I was unwrapping Christmas gift and such etc. I was given Star Wars Battlefront (2015) for the PS4 and I was overjoyed with excitement and delight, I played that game all year long the following year after. Having fun playing Heros Vs Villians and Walker Assault. And the dlc was fun as well. This was my first Star Wars game I had ever played and completed it back in 2016 just before EAs Battlefront II came out. I made great memories and now I can do the same on Steam. May the force be with you!
Looks awesome for an 11 year old game, holds up to this day and runs very well.
This game is absolutely a disapointment. Not like the graphics or maps or anything about the game it didn't let me play co-op AT ALL. i played 2 matches with my friend which was EXTREMELY fun but suddenly i got a weird glitch where it didn't even let me play with him at all. i tried 30 methods to fix it and it still doesn't work. If someone can message me and tell me how to fix this ill be extremely thankful. I really didn't expect it to randomly stop working all of a sudden. If your gonna buy this game and play with your friends i don't recommend at all. The error was "This session is no longer available" And we both have the same DNS.
Someone else hooked their EA account up to my Steam account. I can only disconnect it by accessing the thief's account, and neither EA nor Steam seem able to do anything about it. They wouldn't even refund the game since it's unplayable due to the account issues they won't fix. Maybe the game is awesome, but I'll never know since EA is such an abject failure at account management.
Great game. just needs more hero's. This game deserves alot of more players
This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good but it requires the EA app which sucks major ♥♥♥♥. Even though I love this game, I would recommend getting it on a console or something just to avoid the EAness of the PC release. The graphics are beautiful and the game runs great. It has great gameplay and it just reeks of effort everywhere. But it just HAS to be infected by the EA spyware.
A really great game I usually play with my friend on his Xbox, now I can play it on computer!
