Star Wars: Droid Repair Bay is a short VR experience where you work for the Resistance as a **droid mechanic**, which is a fancy way of saying: > “You’re a space IT guy for spherical robots that have seen some things.” You’re standing in a hangar, war going on outside, and your job is to: * Catch incoming broken droids * Open them up like space piñatas * Wiggle their insides until they stop screaming in beeps --- ### Pros: * You get to hang out with BB-8 and other droids, and they all react like excitable metal puppies when you fix them. Instant serotonin. * Tools feel very “Star Wars OSHA violation”: grabby arms, scanners, panels that pop open with suspicious sparks—10/10 immersion. * No combat, no dying, just you calmly doing tech support while an intergalactic war presumably happens off-camera. Relatable. * Great “show off VR to someone” game: looks cool, plays simple, nobody has to explain why you died to a stormtrooper. --- ### Cons: * It’s short. Like, “coffee break demo” short. Blink and you’re back in your living room questioning your life choices. * Zero difficulty. You’re not so much a mechanic as you are a gentle button presser with union-level plot armor. * You will get unreasonably attached to at least one droid and then they’ll just… roll away. No goodbye. No forwarding address. --- ### Peak Droid Repair Bay Moments: * Dropping a droid by accident and immediately apologizing out loud like it’s going to leave a bad Yelp review. * Opening a panel and staring at glowing space guts, pretending you know what any of it does. * Fixing BB-8, watching him chirp and roll in circles, and thinking “Yeah. I’m basically a hero.” * Finishing the whole thing and desperately wishing your real job praised you as much as this one happy robot just did. --- 8.5/10 Chill, cute, and over too quickly—like being the good guy in Star Wars for once. Would clock into my Resistance shift, poke around in droid organs, and get paid in beeps and boops again.

It's free first off. :) Second I thought the graphics were pretty good for a 2017 VR game. Only had a few recommendations. Recommendations: __People in the background were running in low res compared to the rest of the main area. Looked a little odd. Rest was really cool and fun. My Specs: i9900k CPU 32GB RAM 1Tb M2 5080 GPU Quest 3 (wifi)

Pretty fun for a few minutes. Some comedy and engineering in the Star Wars universe.

Great game! I just wish it was longer lol. Its a good but short puzzle game if you want a quick game to play.
