Sqube Darkness

Set before Sqube Escape, this is the game that started it all, obviously I didn't expect it to be anywhere near as good and your mileage will vary, depending on your patience levels. Rather then level based setup like the sequel, this is one long road to run, jump, hide and dodge the many obstacles and enemies who are trying to kill you. The game has similar power ups to the sequel and you can buy more with cube credits. Sound and music are about the same, graphics pretty much the same as well, sadly I didn't enjoy this as much as the sequel, I preferred the level based system of Escape with the stone collecting, its a much fairer game, but still has lots of challenge. Darkness also has an online race mode but I couldn't find anyone to race against. If you've not played escape before then give this a whirl, but if you've played Escape then this probably inst worth bothering with as its quite a step backwards. 2 new games are planned from the same devs, with the Sqube: The beginning being the third in the series and Eye: The Journey a complacently new game.
