Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion

Do not play this game if you are sensitive to rapidly-flashing colors, photosensitive epilepsy or not. At a certain point in the game, there is a gimmick where the game will intentionally try to hinder you by filling the screen with a barrage of rapidly-flashing colors. This occurs every few seconds for a decent amount of rooms. If you've ever read some stuff from the SCP Foundation, it can best be compared to what a memetic kill agent would look like in motion. I do not morally condone any game that intentionally tries to do this because it can hurt its players. Several games have warnings that they can cause seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy without intentionally using it to debilitate the player (gunfire, explosions, rave lights, rapid movement, etcetera), so even though this game does have a warning, it's not all-encompassing or specific enough to properly educate the player on what they could see. If you want to hinder player ability in a visual way, you could have the lights give out and make the room go black, or cover the screen with other kinds of static, visual hindrance, instead of intentionally trying to make their eyes hurt.

best game to play when you are bored, litteraly, buy this game. best game ever!!

unironically a master class in horror, love it's use of tropes 9.9/10 the graphics are pretty limited but they work around that pretty gracefully by building tension through the main gameplay loop

A very fun and not scary game that is cute for the most part I think and yea there's definitely not anything more to it. And it is. Not scary. :3
