A cute, quick little game that is fun for those that enjoy souls-like boss fights. As someone who has played the From Software titles, I liked getting to easily experience the fights without dealing with annoying run-ups. I found it strange that the first few bosses had a run-up room while the later ones didn't. There could also be improvements made to the music. I personally didn't find the boss music to be too memorable. A boss fight becomes all the more exhilarating when there's an epic track playing in the background. Overall, I think this style of game has strong potential for expansion in the future.
This was a fun little game! I was hoping it would take me a little bit longer than an hour! But seems with my Unga Bunga attitude and sheer skills (luck) I was able to be extremely fast, sometimes it seems I am my own worst enemy! Honestly pretty well made Minus a Bug I came across that had me have to think up a new way to win before the patch came out, which I managed just in time! Imagine!!! I had to THINK... I am unga bunga! me think no good! lol (Honestly should be an option to keep that bug for "hard mode" lol) Can't wait to see what we get in future as this has shown Eazy Wizard has much potential

Giving it a positive review because the charm is very nice but it has some issues At least on steam deck it stutters on final boss fight a ton. Doesn't matter what graphics setting. None of the boss fights really feel "good". The camera angles you can't see your character all the way. The genie dude was the worst case. bosses just don't feel very fun to fight. Last fight was pretty sweet but I had bad stutters on my steamdeck and that made it pretty frustrating
Deceptively cute game :]
I am not much of a video game player, but I saw this in one of those IronPineapple steam dive videos and this one looked so cute that I had to give it a try. Played the demo and then I bought the game to stream to my friends. It took me a bit to get through it but I was able to beat a souls-like and that's really exciting to me. I liked the aesthetics of the character models, as well as the atmosphere of the rooms. The boss fights were fun and challenging and outside of some stuttering during the jinn and the final fight, it was a smooth experience for me. My favorite fight was the rat king. The spooky model, the adorable rats, and the second phase were all so much fun for me to see. I did not care for the jinn fight. I might have experienced a bug, but there would be long stretches of time where I would stand around doing nothing while the jinn was spinning into the sand and popping up somewhere else. The second half of the fight was far more enjoyable than the first half. I think it would be improved if the jinn went worm mode at 75% HP instead of around 50%, especially because wailing on the worm lasted a while. The camera angles for some of the fights made seeing the boss and projectiles difficult, which was frustrating at time. Inconsistent object shadows for the butterflies in the final fight were also difficult to see. The music was a bit flat for my tastes, but I appreciated the final boss got their own song. For a first game, I think you did a good job! I hope there will be more experimentation in attacking and movement options to make for some really interesting boss fights in the future. The little thematic foyers were a nice touch on the early bosses. I think I would have packed a bigger punch for the uncomfortable aura of the rat king if the jinn boss also had a foyer. Jumping directly into the rat king after seeing a foyer for everyone else would have been jarring and a little scary to be honest. As a fun extra, I would have loved to be able to see the models of the bosses after you beat the game because I really would love to see the rat king model when I'm not running for my life! Charming style, plenty of room for improvement in the long term, and lost of fun boss designs. Good job on the first published game. I love love loved the rats, they were so cute! They way they bounced around, I couldn't get enough of them. Rat enjoyer.
Neat game with a short runtime of about an hour if you're decent and up to two hours if you're not. The bosses are pretty well designed and the game certainly pushes its three-button combat to the limit. There is a decent amount of jank, and in a game where you die in one hit and each attempt is a few minutes, it can be very frustrating to be shot down by jank. I wish there was more of everything, of course, but the slice we get is high quality with good sound and visual design and solid gameplay. Besides the jank, my main complaint is the difficulty curve. Of the seven bosses in the game, the difficulty goes something like: 2 -> 2 -> 4 -> 1 -> 7 -> 10 -> 8. The last three bosses will take up probably 80% your playtime.
I played the demo, and you can tell this game is made with true love and passion. The art style and gameplay are right for me as a DS and Miyazaki fan.
Legal, senti falta de mais sons nesse jogo e algumas cutscenes pros bosses, precisa de uma polida com certeza. E quem sabe não adicionar uns chefes novos.
I did try this game on one of previous next fest and I thought it was fun, a simple yet artistically good boss rush game and it's still is a good game but, it's not perfect. The story is simple, after waking up into a field you starts following a glowing butterfly that leads you to an abandoned metro station, after getting into the cart you encounter the janitor, "you have to defeat the demons to liberate God" he says and so you do it, simple story nothing too special but a little more wouldn't hurt especially some more explanation after every defeated boss or a story or how they became like that would be nice. The gameplay is simpler, you have to defeat the bosses to progress and get out of the station, you have one hit before dying and restarting the boss fight, which is brutal for some of them but to be honest, the bosses are not that good, at the start, they are really simple and not with a lot to them, some of the later encounters are fun and interesting especially for the one hit/K.O. deal but still they are not that challenging, annoying but not challenging, annoying because of some of the controls choices aren't that great like, the dodge, I think it need some more adjustments and the attacks that they move you a little bit forward making hitting still objects really hard especially where you are in a hurry for damaging the boss, these and some more tiny problems make the later bosses more annoying than challenging. The graphics have a nice style I do like the design of some of the bosses and the cat it's really cute with the little sword and dress, the sound on the other hand it's Meh, there are some moments I think it's out of sync with the rest of the action and some of the boss music where Kinda good but it's not that great. In the end it's a fine first game for this developer it's rough on the edge but I can see the good in this game and I hope that the good in here gonna be in the next game too.
For 5 dollars id absolutely recommend. Its a straight forward boss rush with a total of 7 bosses. Each boss is visually and mechanically distinct and feels a lot like a series of unique puzzles to solve as much as it does a boss fight. The aesthetic is super pretty, and feels like it could be used for larger projects later. I do wish there was a retry button when you lost, so you dont have to rerun to the bosses. Also I'm not sure if it's intentional but theres a slight pause between inputs that can prove frustrating. The only real bug i ran into is, if you die and you're moving/holding movement on death the game black screens, but I believe the team will resolve that since its replicatable. I do wish there was more of a narrative drive, but for a 5 dollar experience, it was satisfying, and I definitely got my moneys worth, makes me curious to see what else the team cooks
