Mick is helpful, sure, but only in the way that your friend who claims they’re assisting you while moving, and spends all their time "supervising" and holding the clipboard. He’s got plenty of guidance, but all the running, hiding, and spider-evading? That’s on X. Meanwhile, the security guards are just doing their jobs, making sure no trespassers ruin the mall’s already questionable structural integrity. And the giant spider? A masterpiece of CGI so baffling that it moves like it’s struggling to exist, lunging at you with the enthusiasm of an animatronic in permanent demo mode. A short and sweet FMV horror game where you play as an urban explorer who gets hunted by giant spiders and has to survive by making various choices, possibly changing the outcome of the story. It honestly reminded me a lot of older B-movies I used to watch as a kid (which is a good thing in my book). Even the 3D CGI spider got me nostalgic for that era when 3D wasn't as good or affordable as it is now, and you'd see stuff like this in TV shows all the time. Overall a fun game that doesn't take itself too seriously, doesn't overstay it's welcome and is a good way to spend half an hour (maybe more if you want to reach all the endings), I recommend it !
