Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game without enough content. Offers great variety of builds and different ways of doing things. Leveling and looting feels good and meaningful. It's just really good. The big con is that damage resistance/immunities make certain battles unbeatable by certain decks, and the game isn't balanced at all. Bad balancing would be fine in a single player game if every obvious strategy felt viable, but that's just not the case. Overall I say it's a recommendation, but it needed a little more work to be really great. There's also not enough save slots for all build I wanted to try.
This game is fun for people enjoying card battles. While it doesn't shine among other similar games it still requires you to think and change your deck for some specific battles. The other interesting thing is the provided classes each with their own bonuses and sometimes different playstyle. All this was about the campaign btw. The gauntlet mode looks interesting at first but once you realize what it is you'll get bored easily. I haven't even tried most of the classes there. Anyway, I spent quite some time with this game which is to show that it has some value.

So I played through THIS UNFINISHED GAME, got annoyed, tortured myself through this rubbish. There's no other way to describe it, because it's just incredibly stupid. I don't even know why you put new images on it. I don't think it even mentions at the beginning that the procedures are so insane. Instead of meeting in the tavern like before, making way for the other monsters on the way, at the beginning after the tutorial, the people from the tavern suddenly meet in the middle of the forest, then they piss off again, I flatten these goblins, and then go to the tavern, where I fight them again. Then the map is full, and at some point the game just stops. I think to myself, what's going on? I calculated that I would have to grind for about 15 hours to get to the next level. I thought you had to get to the next level somehow to continue. No, I look in the forum, and there's actually someone who tells them how nice it is that they've updated it, since the game is still unfinished. And then, not only did they put the game into EA instead of finishing it, no, they're selling a game where the campaign is unfinished, and then they build in a Slay the Spire mode. So listen here, lads, you're just the worst. Seriously, you deserve a good smack in the mouth, a proper punch in the face, and then to be hung naked from a lamppost. Such disrespect and carelessness towards your own work, including the customers who buy the rubbish and then eventually realise that the game isn't finished at all. And then there's this rubbish that every few minutes, after every one or two fights, in principle, sometimes you're lucky and can get through three or four, towards the end, I have to switch. Here I just have to fly, there I can only use ranged weapons, there I have to finish it off with acid or fire, there it's immune to everything else, there I have to do it with magic, there I keep getting cancelled, there I can't use my weapons, there I have to use minions, there minions don't work because they all die, there I have to do it with weapons, you guys are really stupid. Really, what a shame, aren't you ashamed of yourselves? Really, honestly, you can only be deeply ashamed of the rubbish you offer other people, and also this disregard for other people's time, releasing an unfinished game in this terrible state, when the idea is actually good, the idea is fundamentally really good, but what you've done here, you should be mortified, or at least somehow disappear from the world, computer gamers, do something else, go collect bottles, make an account on Onlyfriends, maybe there are some people there who will donate coins while you programme in the evenings – although people like you should actually be doing community service for wasting other people's lives, or just be sent to the front in Ukraine! My initial impression of this game was mediocre, but the more I play it, the more I enjoy it. It's clearly inspired by Hearthstone, and while it has less mechanical complexity or content than Hearthstone, Demontide more than makes up for this by offering supreme flexibility and not being pay-to-win, making it the better of the two. Like Hearthstone, it offers multiple game modes, but my favorite by far is the campaign mode, so that's what I'l be describing. Instead of having one hero power, you can equip up to 3. Instead of choosing one class for your character, you can increase your level in any class each time you gain a character level, unlocking unique class cards, up to a maximum of 8 levels. That said, there are some downsides that need to be mentioned. While there are unlimited randomly generated enemies to fight, the hand-crafted story content is incomplete with no indication that it's still being worked on. Similarly, it looks like each class had 8 levels planned, but only 5 or 6 implemented. The existing content is worth more than the purchase price by a wide margin, but it's still disappointing to know that there was more planned that we can't experience. I'd be thrilled if someday more content gets released, even if it has to be purchased separately. It's unlikely, but I can hope. There are also a few bugs that never got fixed, but they tend to be minor inconveniences. But the main reason I was less than thrilled initially is that the story battles tend to present unique challenges that can completely shut down certain strategies. However, in a way this is a good thing because it provides a powerful incentive to discover new strategies, and there are neutral cards available to buy or craft ensuring that players always have the necessary tools to overcome these challenges.
dont dont dont buy it! we need sell for ver1.0. we need Ach. we need drop card. we need cloud save.
The Good

Artwork looks decent.
Intriguing, but simple gameplay. The game has some good ideas but feels familiar if you're use to collectable card games.

The Bad

Slow gameplay. Everything feels sluggish. Leveling is slow, moving around the world is cumbersome, and the UI is clunky. Every interaction feels like it requires one to two unnecessary clicks.
Unbalanced matches. Rounds are really swingy and highly dependent on your draw.
Not beginner friendly. Being highly dependent on luck requires careful deck building. It's all about tipping the chaos in your favor.

Final Thoughts
Spellsword Cards is not recommended. The game has too many faults and not enough polish to net any kind of joy.
The game feels like it was designed for a 5-year old. Insanely boring right from the start.
