Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Enjoy the depth of a 4X game in a fraction of the time! A game of Space Imperia 4X typically lasts one to two hours. The game is played over a series of rounds, with each consisting of three turns of movement, combat, and exploration, plus one turn of researching techs and building ships.

The only goal of the game is to eliminate all rival home worlds! Victory calls for a blended strategy, including resource management, ship construction, technological research, and tactical-level decisions on a map where no two games are the same.

Build up to 17 different combat and civilian ships, each with different stats and purposes.
Dreadnaughts are the most powerful ship available in the game. They take dedicated research and infrastructure to unlock and yield effectively. Once available, however, its combat stats are the best in the game and a fleet of them can decisively end the game. The counter: any ship is vulnerable to Mines — and these massive capital ships are no exception.
Raiders are Cloaked - nimble, first-strike craft that can move through enemy formations and get special bonuses in combat. They require a special technology to be built. A well-timed fleet of Raiders often leads to decisive victory. The counter: Raiders don't work in Nebula, and Destroyers can equip Scanners to negate the cloaking.
Fighters are pure strength in numbers doctrine. Fighters are cheap to build, while Carriers are expensive and are required to move Fighters around the battlefield. Fighters attack earlier in combat, allowing them to first-strike other ships in large numbers. The counter: Scouts can equip Point Defense to shoot earlier than enemy Fighters, negating their advantages.

Research up to 14 different technologies, each with a distinct role. Master the full toolkit to outmaneuver and destroy your rivals.
Ship Size gates which hulls you can build. Bigger hulls take more hits to destroy and carry higher-level technology, but cost more to build and maintain.
Exploration allows Cruisers to equip advanced sensors which can discover adjacent systems without movement. Scout hazards like Black Holes safely, then craft an informed plan to defeat the enemy.
When ships of the same Weapon Class fire, the ships with higher Tactics shoot first, potentially securing kills before the other ship ever acts.

Uncover a galaxy filled with different terrain types, harvestable minerals, and derelict ship wrecks. Balance the risks and rewards of exploring Deep Space while carving a path toward your rivals' home worlds. Colonize newly-found habitable worlds. Not all worlds are the same - when colonizing, Barren Planets need special Terraforming technology, while Alien Planets require military action to clear alien ships.

Build and expand a network of Merchant Ships and Miners to increase credit income and economic production.
Manage your military fleet - decide what ships to build, what techs to equip them with, and how best to defeat the enemy's formations. Deploy your fleets on the battlefield to vie for control of deep space in order to ultimately destroy your enemy's home world. The combat system of Space Imperia 4X is a rewarding mixture of scouting, positioning, attacking, and bluffing - all combat ships are concealed from the enemy until first contact!

Play in over 10 different scenario setups of 2-4 players, with optional rules and various ways to play. Full multiplayer support, including live matches, long-term asynchronous games, as well as online co-op vs AI matches.

a lot of fun. board game by the Krohn who needs to get TALON over here and BOB!!. lets get to working on TALON and then Band of Brothers. Make it so Krohn!!
Excellent reproduction of the board game! Would love to see the close encounters expansion added on. would like to see different artwork for ships and planets just like the board game so that each color has unique ship art and planets all have slightly different looks.
I really like the board game, although I've only played it a few times because I don't have anyone to play with. For that reason, the digital version was a very pleasant surprise and an instant buy for me. The game is still a lot of fun, and it's a good adaptation. However, there's still a lot of work that needs to be done. First of all, the UI needs a lot of quality-of-life improvements, including better scaling, a better window layout, or at least the ability to move or close some of them. The music and sound effects are very repetitive and, to my taste, a bit annoying. There are also some bugs, such as the bots freezing during the "Choosing the First Player" phase or my mouse cursor moving on its own from time to time. The AI also needs improvement; it's very predictable, always following the same routes and strategies. Overall, it's a good experience and a solid implementation. I just hope the upcoming fixes will make it not only good, but excellent.

Great implementation of the board game, with the advantage of playing anytime against the (improving) AI. I'm gonna be playing a lot of this for sure!
fun game, AI needs to get better still but play on 3P
conoscevo già la versione boardgame. questo è solo il base, mancano 3 espansioni del gioco, se arriveranno sarà veramente un bel gioco. per qualcuno è vintage ma a me piace.
Great game based upon one of my favourites GMT's Space Empire 4X and brings back the nostalgia of those GDW games such as Imperium from the early 80's. Currently only the base game but the Dev promises that the expansions (Close Encounters, Replicators and All Good Things) will be future projects that no doubt will be added as DLC's (cannot wait!). There are a few glitches but this has only just been released and the developer is working hard on hotfixes (see the discussion forum). Interface isnt the best as the text is very small and the 'Explore' button is near the bottom corner, so when trying to press it, the map moves. Overall, I was always going to like this.
Thrilled to have a digital version of one of my favorite games. I could play this for hours and hours on end. I hope further expansion elements and scenarios are added in the future.
It's rough around the edges, but it's alright. I encountered a soft-lock bug during combat and it crashed on me once; luckily it autosaves after every action, so nothing was lost. The music is 'meh' and I had a feeling even before checking the steam page that the voice acting was AI. Art and sound effects range from serviceable to good. The tutorial lacks any info on the advanced rules and is sparse on some details; Bafflingly, the text and voice for the Combat section are very mismatched. A Codex exists in-game that explains just about every game concept, so any confusion didn't last too long. I wish the AI were a bit more intelligent. It's not terrible, but made frequent questionable decisions. That might be more to do with the complexity of the game, so it's understandable, if a bit disappointing. Overall I enjoyed it. At $20 it's a fair price, and an excellent pick up if you're a fan of the board game.
