About
They wanted to summon their god. They got a nightmare. Now, it's time to make them into a stew.
Souper Bloody is a rougelite hack-and-slash where you play as a demon from the lowest layer of the Underlasagne. You can only move around in the blood of your enemies, so get slashing!

Xylo (full name Xylo William Phone) is a demon living comfortably in the lowest layer of the Underlasagne until one day he gets accidentally summoned to the surface by the vegetable cult. Understandably cranky, he kills each and every piece of food on his way back down to the core of the Underlasagne.

PLAY as a demon seeking revenge on the food cults of the Underlasagne!

FIGHT cults of rotten vegetables and other foods!

UPGRADE your stats in between runs and find perks while battling!

Souper Bloody combat feels super slow and unsatisfying. The idea and theme is there, but combat ruins it. Maybe combat gets better after several upgrades, but it's a long stretch until that possibility.
Really fun game, love the puddle movement mechanics.
#tinygamereview

A stew in itself, with a little bit of this and that derived from other recipes that worked. Tasty, but lacks much of a flavor to call its own.
🟩 HADES'NT 🟩

🎮 🟨Gameplay: starts off pretty rough with crappy attacks. gets more fun as you upgrade, but there aren't many updrades. 📖 🟧Narrative: I...I don't...it's there... 🔊 🟨Audio: There's not much variety, but the music is appropriate and the sound is nice. 🖼️ 🟩Visuals: unexpectedly-good for a free game.

#readme
The first ten minutes were pretty frustrating, but once you get a couple of upgrades and your attacks aren't as slow and weak, it gets more fun. Each level operates much like Hades, in which you have to kill a "room" full of enemies in order to proceed - and earn a buff each time. You gather currency with which to buy more-permanent attack upgrades. You die sometimes. You try again.
#memorycard
What stood out: 📌Quick to pick up and just go Who it's for: 🎁People who don't want to commit to Hades right now. 🎁People who want something faster than Slay the Spire. 🎁People who like both of the above games but don't want to spend money on something else because they want something like those that's also not-those, so there's this and that's that. This game definitely leans into a weird, horrorcore, alternative vibe with a quirky storyline and unusual environment. If you’re into strange, offbeat games with a unique style, this might be right up your alley. For me though, it just didn’t quite land. The gameplay is very simple — a sandbox-style arena where you fight enemies and unlock abilities as you go. It’s easy to pick up, but after about 10–15 minutes, it started to feel a bit repetitive and didn’t hold my attention. Controls are decent, but honestly, it feels like the kind of game that would work better on mobile rather than PC or console — more of a quick-play experience than something you’d sit down with for hours. My rating: 4/10 check out my playthrough on you tube https://youtu.be/0_vkxV9mPLk
My genuine experience playing this game: 1. Wow! These mechanics are kinda hard! 2. Power through and get some upgrades. 3. Inhale the food-related puns like it's onion and garlic roasting in the pan. 4. Cheesy breezy through the weezy. 5. Maybe I should get all the achievements now? 6. Get all achievements except the no-hit run. 7. Time for the no-hit run! Wow! I'm doing great! Only one more level to g- GET SUPLEXED BY CHEESE WHEEL. 10/10 would get suplexed again. In all seriousness, great game, hard at the start, but gets a lot easier once you get some upgrades in. And lastly, it was an honor to write the music for this.
Wonderful game with a charming art style. game gets its hooks into you as soon as you load into the main menu. super impressive not only as a student project, but as a game in general.
