Songs of Syx is a fantasy city-builder with vast battles simulating thousands of citizens and soldiers. Start off as a small village and build, scheme, and fight your way towards a mighty empire. The mechanics are deep and true to life, where tiny events can spiral into the collapse of kingdoms.

Not perfect but a lot of fun and worth the money. If you like colony simulators, this game is awesome. The military aspect could use some improvement but I'm sure the dev will get to it. Its a hard game but people seem to just not think big enough. I have had a 3.5K cretonian population city on my second try without ever even realising there were politics in the game outside of trading and having 0 defensive power. Just by focussing on food and chairs and grovelling at the feet of every friendly visitor (bandit) named bardolumus Child-Eater V or something like that. Just as is, worth every buck. Learning (Losing) is fun!
11 Hours in and I'm starting to vibe with the game. Looking forward to playing more and seeing where the game goes
I find myself coming back to this game from time to time, and the updates have been great
really fun + engaging
The demo was so good that I had to get the game. Absolutely no regrets its the best city builder I've played. Combine the expansive map with the conquering system it feels perfect. Have thousand of unit battles in a city builder is just amazing. Unless I'm clueless you regretably can't manage via directly building with the build menu in other areas of land that you conquer. You can influence there production but not much else it seems.
excellent game ! tbh its really a rimworld-like but much more than a immitation or a alternative. Main difference is you control a much more populated crowd so that the colony management becomes sociological crowd management more than a psychological individual management, unlike rimworld. This whole difference between the main core mechanics makes songs of syx a lot more than a rimworld alternative but a whole different experience which i like more. Pls dont abandon this game.
I love this game to death
