Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Some of You May Die is a strategic autobattler where you assemble a team of heroes and upgrade them to absurd levels of power. Test your skill against other players in Online PvP!
Breaking the game IS the game. Stack upgrades and heroes to level them up. Invest gold in customizing your heroes with full control over their stat sheet.
Want a high armor priest who reflects incoming damage? You can do that.
How about an assassin with lightning fast movement speed who skips your opponents defensive line entirely? Yup.
No two heroes are the same! Every time you are offered a hero, they come with a different combination of Boosted Stats and an Ability that give them a unique edge. These combinations create a huge amount of variety. After choosing a hero, you are offered dozens of highly synergistic upgrades to push the customization even farther. This empowers you to create ultra-powerful teams that feel completely unstoppable - until your opponent reaches for the perfect counter.
Realtime & Async Multiplayer: Face other players and put your strategies to the test. Matches are full of clever counters so it's never to late to stage a come-back! You can choose between Realtime Multiplayer or Asynchronous Multiplayer so you never have to wait for matches.
A Constantly Shifting Meta-Game: Each match has a different pool of upgrades a randomized squad of heroes to pick from. This keeps the meta-strategy fresh every time you play!
Deep Customization: Each hero comes with 2 Boosted Stats (like health, attack speed, or range) and an ability. Boosted Stats start higher and upgrade faster than a non-boosted stat. This means that each hero offered in the shop has unique potential and some can be upgraded to absurd levels of power.
Become Overpowered: Stack heroes of the same kind from the shop to level them up. Leveled heroes get a significant boost to their stats, making each level a meaningful step up. Invest heavily in one or two powerful heroes or go wide and flood the battlefield to outnumber your foes! The choice is yours.
Stack your Upgrades: Level up your heroes' upgrades too! Upgrades offer a high variety of customization. Some add effects to your heroes' attacks like Poison or Stun. Some trigger actions on events like "on death" or "on kill". Leveled upgrades become significantly more powerful which leads to highly strategic and specialized builds.
Matches are tactical, full of wild synergies, and will have you on the edge of your seat right up to the end!

I feel like a lot of the people who are giving the game a bad review on account of poor balancing + difficulty are correct, however, I also feel like most of these people won't come back to give this game another shot after patching. So I am tentatively giving this a good review, for the sake of indie devs. Once I have played more I will finalize my stance.
This is an army autobattler where you can upgrade everything, and that’s what makes it so fun. I really enjoy the freedom to create and experiment with unique builds. Keep up the great work, dev.
I play a lot of auto battlers, this is one of the fun in my roster. I like the strategic depth of everything, especially the unique twist of this game that you can upgrade everything. And lots of stats and numbers so it's easy to see what's working and what isn't. A great 2nd outing from this developer!

If you're looking for something challenging with a great degree of depth/customization this is a fantastic pick! I'm not usually an Auto-Battler player, though I have played the more mainstream ones, but this dev really captures my love for depth in games. I decided to give this game a shot and support the dev and I was not disappointed! PvP is rewarding and I've clawed wins from the depths of a crushing defeat with just a difference in positioning- their reaper vs. my reaper, they kept crushing me- so I swapped to let an Evasion Tank grab the enemy Reaper and made mine Teleport when attacked to get into the enemy backline and kill their squishies. It was such a satisfying victory and I'm playing through the trials to get a better idea of the depths of creativity possible before getting back into some PvP! Looking forward to seeing you out there! P.S. It seems like the game is getting updated regularly, the dev is asking for feedback and it seems more refined every couple of days- excited to see where things go!
broken at the moment. game un clickable at menu. music running but cant do anything. sad.
another great game from a great dev. if you're looking for something fun and challenging and does something new and interesting with autobattlers, this is definitely worth picking up.
Worth the sale price, needs polishing but it is still fun. It can be kind of hard getting used to the UI and that needs a bit of QoL work. Getting gold doesn't seem to be an issue but it is frustrating when you have rounds where you start with 16gp and besides getting heros and spending on their stats, upgrades that spawn are all 15 cost then to roll again for the same result, also i would like an indicator for how much gold i get to spend per round.(maybe its there and im not seeing it.) Otherwise i like that you can read out each battle. Placement can be key, and i won a round without actually getting to spend my gold (i miss clicked when there was upgrades and stats i wanted to spend on) and all i did was reposition my characters, then won. After that battle i had so much damn gold though so it worked out. Loosing fights can be super good for your run. Every unit has factors it can spawn with that are set but scrambled off of a selection for that unit type, so read what each unit does before placement and read out each opponent. Otherwise as of this review i only have 5 hours but i had got the demo this morning and played it for a few hours before deciding to get the full game and I am still having a good time!
I beat the base difficulty on my first try. Its really not as hard as people say it is. It gives you so many lives.
Poison is broken and that's why its boring
Solid game so far! I like the singleplayer aspect a lot so far. The ability to make a team comprising of multiple sizes and types makes a lot of fun experiences.
