Solitaire Deluxe® 2: Card Game

Was pretty good until… I liked these games. Fast, easy way to pass the time. Until recently, when the ad bar at the bottom started lagging my game play (it would freeze, then try to catch up with where I was trying to click after ad loaded). I tried turning my iPhone off all the way and back on, checking to see if it was maybe the update, but now I can’t even get the app to open anymore. Bummer.

What’s going on? Weird scoring for sure. I noticed it was kinda creepy how my score had 666 in it almost every time and I started paying attention and even intentionally messing up my score to avoid it but 9 out of 10 times my score ALWAYS has three 6’s in it. If I close the game and reopen it, occasionally it changes to all black cards and says JOKER across the screen and the screen goes glitchy until I force close it and reopen it or restart the hand. I ignore it for the most part but that is truly super weird and honestly pretty creepy. Why the 666 in the scores. It’s not even an accurate score. Is this intentional? If it was occasionally then ok but it’s like every single game.

Good variety Update: since the last bug fix the predatory ad has gone away. Thank you! I can enjoy my favorite solitaire game again!! I've been playing this game for years. It's my go to game when I'm bored and I've played thousands of the different games. My favorites are Canfield and Spiderette. The ads are annoying in between the games, but a lot less than in other games. Recently though there is an ad that interrupts the game and hijacks my browser. I've tried contacting support, but nobody is responding. If this keeps up, I'm going to have to find a new solitaire game. I can live with the ads in between rounds, or at the bottom of the screen, but predatory ads trying to scare you into clicking their links or force you be not letting you even hit the x to close the window is too much, and it's happening multiple times during game play.

Deleted the ap after years of playing because of predatory ads April 2025 review: I deleted the ap because they started new ads that interrupt your game over and over, claiming you have a virus, trying to trick you into downloading some program. This is predatory and I won't support it!

Paid for Ad Free - Tricked? I paid for the ad free version of this game years ago… reopened this game after an update to find ads? Not only banner ads, but full screen ads that are impossible to close out. What a waste of a good game.

Good variety of games I like that there are so many games to choose from! They are all fun. The reason that I’m only rating it 4 stars is because if I don’t play for a period of time (1 month??), I lose all my stats and stickers. Not good. I played hundreds of games to get them. I know the company recognizes me when I start playing again, because it knows I have already paid for the ad-free version. If it knows that, my stats and stickers should remain. This has happened twice after I didn’t play for awhile. If I still had all my stickers, I would probably have a hundred of them. To the developers: Is there any way for me to get back all the stickers I’ve earned in the past?

Been Playing for a Decade? If it hasn’t been a decade, it’s been close. This is one of the first apps I download when I get a new device. So many mobile games come and go, but this one has been a constant in my life for so long. It is one that I fall back on often. There are so many different styles and games of solitaire, and so even if you tire of one game after a while, there are so many options to switch it up. That puts it miles above other solitaire apps in my opinion. Another thing I love are there aren’t any ads. After reading through some other reviews, I realized that I bought the app years and years ago then totally forgot. Money well spent in my option. (I also saw complaints about not connecting to facebook, but I absolutely don’t want my games connected to facebook, so I can’t say anything about that.) I love the way you can customize the cards and background. The only downside is that it will occasionally reset me, so that I have the default cards and all my high scores are gone. But I honestly don’t even mind. I’ve been playing so long, that I honestly like it when that happens and I can start trying over again at things. Oh, but even if you are at a point where you aren’t constantly getting all-time bests anymore, it will tell you weekly bests and the like. I don’t pay attention to that a lot, but it is fun that it is there. I also love that you can undo for forever. I don’t like giving up on a game. I do try sometimes to not need the undo, but if I get to the end of the game and am not going to win… Well, technically, I could restart the game, but instead I undo back to the start. Closing out of the app doesn’t change anything. I genuinely am not sure why I haven’t reviewed this app already. The loading screen says they read all the reviews, and I’m finally trying to see if that still holds true. Love this app… but it freezes… I love this solitaire app. I love playing classic solitaire, and 13, but I am being driven mad since the last update. It freezes suddenly all the time. From between 5 seconds and 45 seconds. It is infuriating. It’s making it almost unplayable right now. Hope that gets fixed with the next update.

No longer loads Been playing on this app for years. It no longer loads or when it does, in staggers or skips. Will now need to find another app to play.

ADS I’m so mad! I realize you have to have the ads for your app and I can deal with that! I CANNOT deal with said ads popping up randomly interfering with my game play! PLEASE fix that so I can go back to playing my favorite card games! Thank you.
