I've challenged myself to play this long time ago for two hours without stopping and lemme tell you... I've NEVER been so happy to close and uninstall a game before in my life. Even after all these years of when I last played it vs. now, I still can recall everything about this nightmare of a game. The game in itself is good, art style is gorgeous but where it falls is the infuriating controls, the level design and the fact that even the SIMPLEST THINGS take FOREVER. Everything is designed in a way so even a singlest ♥♥♥♥ up just utterly ruins everything and send you back. It's not a matter of me having next to no patience, nuh uh! It's slow as balls to the point you stop having fun after first hour and the next hours with more advanced stages makes you wish you were sleeping instead. Hell, even jerking off would be far more productive than PLAYING THIS GAME!!! The camera system is still the same as when I played it so expect to have it freak out, glitch out or just be completely uncooperative at certain sections of the game for no real reason other than to anger you I guess. You're endlessly battling physics, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls and borderline insane map layout. If that sounds like your game then go for it. I'm still agitated over it. Just seeing this snake again on the store page jpeg fills me with unhealthy levels of rage. I don't even know how this game became as popular as it did back in the day, it's genuinely awful.

Either the learning curve for movement is steep, or it's just difficult. Either way, eventually I hit a point in the game where level difficulty went way up, and retrying meant retrying from a bit too far back. It was simply not fun anymore, and it felt kind of... slow-paced even before that. The game definitely has its charm, and I applaud the developers for trying out something different. Perhaps if you're a better player at the game than I am, it might be fun for you, but it didn't end up being fun for me.

Beautiful game, love the soundtrack, 100%'ed it and streamed the final level to a friend. ...Using keyboard and mouse. I was gonna write a serious review, but just this once, I'd like to say GIT GUD If you don't like challenging controls, don't even try it ;)
Funny game
Fun arcade game. The story was pretty much unnecessary, but wasn't a bother either. The controls are fun to learn and master.
