Smithworks is a first-person 3D cooperative multiplayer game where players play as fledgling blacksmiths. It is a humorous and chaotic experience where players will need to communicate effectively in order to craft these weapons quickly before the customers get angry.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

This game is awesome! My friend and I played this game while high and it was a blast. Figuring out how to communicate together has been a rollercoaster of emotions that ive never shared with my boi before. After we learned how to play the game together we learned how to play with each others hearts.
the orders are to fast the game its self is fun 6/10

The game itself is OK, and plays alright and is quite fun with friends, I guess... BUT there's a big caveat if you're playing on a laptop (like me) as I have it plugged in at all times and suddenly it just turned off... As it turns out it actually drained my battery WHILE IT WAS BEING CHARGED, THE HELL?! So, while the game is fine at best, I can't recommend it as not even Cyberpunk 2077 is demanding enough for my laptop to drain the battery while being plugged in, unlike this game for whatever reason, LOL.
ok so the game is fun but i havent played it in a while but when i did for the first time you sprint hop meaning you could sextuple jump and even when i got to the hard orders me and my friend did them with easy because of that glitch hope it got patched
if your alone, just forget it. not as fun as other blacksmith game

Smithworks is a small crafting and blacksmithing game where I take on the role of a smith and spend my time creating weapons and other items. The main appeal comes from turning raw materials into finished equipment through a hands-on crafting process. It is a simple concept, but I like the idea of focusing an entire game around the satisfying process of making things. The crafting is easily the strongest part for me. Instead of simply selecting an item from a menu and waiting for it to appear, I get more involved in the creation process. Choosing materials, working with the metal and gradually shaping an item makes the finished product feel more personal. When I successfully create something useful, it feels like I actually made it rather than simply purchased it. The game also has a relaxing rhythm to it. I can gather materials, work at the forge and gradually improve what I am capable of producing. There is not necessarily a huge amount of pressure, so I can take my time and focus on learning the crafting process. That makes it a good choice when I want something slower than a typical action game. Progression gives the crafting loop some extra purpose. As I improve my skills and gain access to better materials or equipment, I can create more valuable and powerful items. I like seeing the difference between early basic creations and the more advanced pieces I can eventually produce. The biggest weakness is that the core loop can become repetitive. Once I understand the basic blacksmithing process, I am still performing many of the same actions again and again. More complex recipes, different forging techniques and unusual materials could give the later stages more variety and make mastery feel more meaningful. I also think the game could do more with the equipment I create. Crafting is more satisfying when the things I make have a clear purpose, whether that means selling them, using them in combat or completing specific orders. If the finished items do not lead to enough meaningful decisions, the crafting itself can eventually start to feel like the entire objective. The presentation is simple but fits the concept. A blacksmithing game does not need an enormous world or elaborate graphics if the forge and crafting mechanics are satisfying. I would still like more visual feedback when creating something particularly good, because major crafting achievements should feel more special than ordinary items. Overall, Smithworks is a charming little crafting game that makes blacksmithing the main event. I enjoy the hands-on forging, relaxing pace and gradual improvement of my skills, while the repetitive nature of the crafting loop limits its long-term depth. It is best suited to players who enjoy the simple satisfaction of making things and slowly becoming better at a specialised craft. Rating: 7.3/10
If you are looking to play with friends then it's a pretty cool game. BUT from what i realised is that when i played solo it was SUPER LAGGY and turned my camera like i had the sensitivity set super high. That didn't happen when i played multiplayer, but that could have just been out of luck.
