Thought this was gonna be a cash grab remake of the original, but it's actually a much improved and fleshed out game. Feels odd to describe it as an "Overly charming little murder sim". The challenge levels are a much nicer addition to let you scale difficulty without it being mandatory to progress through the levels, and even then the puzzles aren't too overly difficult (so far at least). Also, despite the simplicity the hint system showing you the opening moves really helps with the harder challenges. Honestly a well done little game, and disturbingly cute. EDIT: Okay the minigames were neat to start but got boring REAL fast. Thankfully you can "insta-skip" them with an option in the menu.

Me encantó el primero (el de Jason) pero este es aún mejor. Nunca se acaba, tiene muchas pantallas y personajes. Y lo mejor, sin DLC ni micropagos como hicieron con el primero. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

I LOVE these games. It's a puzzler so if you like brain stuff you will like this game. It's funny as hell too

Die Fortsetzung basiert auf der bereits amüsanten Idee, Schiebeblock-Puzzle-Mechaniken mit der Gewalt eines Slasher-Comics zu kombinieren, und bietet von allem mehr: mehr Rätsel, mehr freischaltbare Charaktere, mehr mechanische Kniffe, mehr B-Movie-Horror-Referenzen und jede Menge Mord.

New mechanics along with switching to single-tile movement for the second game made it much more difficult compared to the original. There aren't any challenges for completing levels efficiently, but victims still run away until they hit an obstacle, so trapping them requires set-up of varying complexity. You will be pushing crates, rolling boulders, launching lawn-mowers, and scaring small animals to manipulate level layouts to your advantage. Often doing so while walking on breakable tiles which call for planning one's path carefully. Some levels contain an optional machete to be obtained for a little challenge and a corresponding achievement. In addition to the relatively "talentless", base character, there are three new types, each with a unique mechanic. One of them can throw a projectile to take out a victim or a wooden crate, another one can leave a stationary zombie ally in place of a victim, and the third type can pass through some obstacles. Unfortunately, because the game is a pretty strict puzzler, the choice of character type is dictated by a chosen level. Undoing last move is unlimited, and every level features a hint and a full video solution. There doesn't seem to be a way to "scrub" video solutions if you only intend to watch a part of it, and for a couple of levels the video solutions didn't trigger at all, which is probably a bug. There was another bug with an obstacle not rendering correctly and showing an traversable tile instead, but it wasn't super-crucial. The game may have lost a bit of charm. There are still a good number of skins to unlock, but they don't have unique animations. Levels are divided into sets of three or four, called "movies", but none of them are particularly memorable, although each of them has its own thumbnail and an amusing description. The mini-games might start feeling a bit repetitive, and if you fail the one for the machete challenge, you miss your chance to bank a star for it, and you would have to restart the level to try again because undoing last move won't bring that machete back. Multi-screen puzzles are an absolute test of spatial awareness because they require keeping track of objects off-screen, and generally hinder visualising solutions. Endless mode seems to lack a little something to make it a bit more exciting to play, and will take quite a bit of time, if you want to unlock the achievement for it. Despite some small drawbacks, the game is still solid and packed with features, so I don't see a good enough reason not to recommend.
