Jordan King does it again, a jankfest with a great script. After a few more action heavy titles he's back to the walking simulator with Resident Evil style interconnected levels where you need to scavenge for items to progress. I enjoyed it a great deal but there are some issues, some bad jank, not just the enjoyable kind. The game opens with a prologue where you play as a taxi driver, this part is pretty bad since you're both finding and delivering passengers in a pretty open space without a map or any other indicator of where you need to go. It's also completely lacking in options except for the visuals, the controls for the inventory are pretty bad and can't be rebound and there is also no button to exit out of things like pressing ESC usually does. There's one section where you have to do everything really quick with no explanation, there really should have been a checkpoint right before it since you'll have to replay a few minutes leading up to it if you die there, which you will.

A BAD GAME DONT BUY IT TRUST ME
If you can get into a slower burn puzzle game, and are fond of Puppetcombo style horror-fare I'd recommend skinfreak for a fun jumpscare light, puzzle heavy evening. PS: It has a great 3rd act that I found alot stronger than most puppetcombo style horror games.
W game
Had a lot of fun playing this game. Cant wait to see what else these guys come out with.
check out my playthrough: https://youtu.be/Y_GSFSRrktc goodgame, Black Eyed Priest doesn't disappoint
I love the concept of this game, but my GOD does it drag. Way too much driving and dialogue, not enough spooky or jumpscares or Skin. Add a marker for the player to know where they're supposed to drive and that would dramatically reduce the fatigue in the first 30 minutes of the game (literally just taxi driving simulator). Probably great to play solo, but NOT good for streaming.
I admire this dev's output, but I wish they'd focus a bit more on quality over quantity. So many minor things that may not seem like a big deal on their own, but together, really detract from the experience: aimlessly driving around empty streets looking for locations, the lock on the trunk of the cab not being parented properly so it floats when you open it (come on, man...), no Back button when examining an item so you're forced to either Inspect it, Drop it, or Use it... a million little things like that... It would be one thing if this game were $5, but it's $16.99 (CAD). And my god is the writing bad -- I mean on a technincal level. The notes and dialogue feel like they were written by a child: misspellings, run on sentences, grammatical errors... The epilogue speech at the end is a prime example of this. How anyone could write and or proof read that and think "Yup. Ship it." is beyond me. That said, there's still a charm to these games that I cannot deny, and I had fun with it overall. I'm giving this a positive review because I want people like BEP to keep making games.
