Stellaris but easier and more beginner friendly.
based i love it
Grundsätzlich sehr nice :) Super Grafik, schöne Schiffe .. die KI ist jedoch sehr unausgewogen und verhält sich immer ziemlich dumm.
Sins 2 is a great evolution of the o.g. sins which I have sunk a ton of time into, but I wholeheartedly agree at its current *base* price of $73 AUD, it's waaay too expensive. Perhaps if that price included the Content Pass it'd be more worthwhile, but even then the DLC leaves a lot to be desired. If you enjoyed the original sins, you'll find a lot to love here, but maybe wait for a sale first.
Sins 2 is still sins.
I'm a really big fan of RTS games, especially space RTS games like Empire at War, and this game just feels soulless and boring. I've really wanted it because it seemed like this game would be similar to Stellaris but with more in depth combat, because I really like Stellaris but it's space combat is a little boring. In reality though, this game's combat isn't much better, it's pretty much just build one or two big fleets, send them to a star system, and watch as your ships and the enemy ships stay in one place and shoot each other. There's no micromanaging tactics or ship skills, no ambushing or flanking or whatever, it just feels boring. If your looking for an old but very good space RTS, player Empire at War, that game has some great mods.
What we’re seeing is that as our Terran‑playing friends develop more trade routes, things start getting buggy, choppy, and unstable. If more than one of us is playing Terran, the problem basically doubles. The wild part is that this does not happen in single‑player at all, which makes it feel less like a hardware issue and more like a problem with how the game handles data in multiplayer. From our perspective, it looks like there’s some kind of cap or bottleneck in how much the game can process and sync between players over the network, regardless of the fact that we all have high‑speed internet and solid PCs. Once we hit late game, one or two of us will drop to 1–2 frames per second, which makes it basically impossible to play or micro anything. In our most recent match, two of us were stuck at a literal 1 FPS slideshow while the third friend managed to push through and beat the AI. The desync or slowdown was so bad that the two of us at 1 FPS didn’t even get a clear indication that the game had ended or that we’d actually won. For a game this good at its core, these late‑game multiplayer performance issues are incredibly frustrating and really hurt the experience for groups who want to play big, extended matches together. 6-22-26 Stardock has been very helpful in communicating with me on this issue. I should have updated this a while ago. They accepted copies of my game data and much of this issues i reported are resolved. There are still occasional latency issues but we regularly enjoy playing together without significant issue. Changing to recommend!!!
where is RANKULAS??????????? Bring it back!
Bought the Premium Edition and think it's well worth the price. From what I've witnessed the devs care a lot about the game and are very open to feedback and are trying their best to get things not just right but great. This also includes mod support. Performance has also been superb so far. Can't be compared to the older SINS titles, if you were worried about that. The only negative thing I could point out is that a few of the Vasari voice lines are pretty cringe and even though there are so many options, for some reason alerts and voice lines are linked. So, I have to play without alerts or replace audio files, if I want to enjoy a game without a Vasari french-kissing my ear (yes, trust me). Overall, I for sure got a lot of fun hours out of the game and I didn't even join the competitive multiplayer scene AND there are still 2 DLCs to go. If you are a fan of RTS games, I highly recommend you to buy SINS 2.
AI generated art mid, but the game is good and still getting worked on. I get it, I don't like how the AI art looks either it just looks off. However, and hear me out, the game is actually fun and good. Crazy I know but the game is actually good and there might be some loser reviews downvoting it simply because of some terrible art for tech upgrades in the tech trees. We're all snobs in our own right but that's a really tough hill to die on.
