my head hurts
This Game is a Absolute gem in the rhythm game space lovely fishing mechanics that layer progressively makes the experience for first time rhythm gamers enjoy too if you are contemplating picking this game up i would totally give it a shot
cool concept, but it falls flat through execution. as the tutorial fed me more and more information, i started to feel overwhelmed. tension must be kept in a sweet spot by reeling on beat and reels can be interrupted by projectiles which must be blocked from different angles. though this sounds simple on paper, i found it incredibly difficult to manage tension, block projectiles and stay on beat all at the same time. by the time i was catching fish on my own, the game began to pile more mechanics on top of the already convoluted base. i cant see myself warming up to the steep learning curve which is presented to me at the beginning of the game, nor can i see the developer modifying these core mechanics. i personally wouldnt recommend it, but it is only £6 sooooo do whatever.

obviously still in early access so not everything is polished but MAN this game is so fun once things get going. the tutorial threw a lot of stuff at me + new mechanics being added on took a while to get used to, but once you catch on it's one of the most interesting and enjoyable rhythm games i've seen in a while. the aesthetic, ui and music feel really nostalgic to me. i love this game and i so look forward to seeing it develop i found playing with a controller feels way easier than keyboard and mouse ^_^
Really unique take on rhythm gaming and fishing, paired with a fun visual aesthetic and catchy tunes reminiscent of tracks from older-generation Bemani games. I highly recommend it! ^^
Really good and really difficult
What an extremely fun and enjoyable rhythm game. There is a major issue I have, which is that this game is unplayable if you have an audio offset of more than 100 milliseconds. I like to play all of my games with headphones. However, it seems I can never catch the beats properly even when I attempt to calibrate the offset numerous times. I did not mind playing this game with my device speakers, though this may be a turn off for some players. This game has the most novel setup for a rhythm game I've experienced. Difficult at first due to having to multitask refilling a constantly depleting gauge and catching the notes. Though it becomes extremely fun once you find a balance between both core aspects of the rhythm game. When you familiarize yourself with these core aspects, the game introduces more gimmicks in later charts that keep the gameplay loop refreshing and engaging. As a person with experience in VSRGs and more linear scrolling rhythm games, this game left a great first impression of the non-linear, arcade-like subgenre. I look forward to seeing more of what Chavafei has in store for this game. It is also surprisingly very controller friendly. I managed to get every achievement as of now with it.
it's cute and fun, I'm honestly surprised it works so well considering it's a very unique rhythm game that's also doing a lot at the same time, but it all works out nicely. There's some pretty tough challenges to this game, yet it doesn't feel frustrating. I'm really excited to see more content be added! But for now, I think the price tag is definitely worth what's already in the game. It's already a well polished experience.
i never expected this to be my fill for pc rhythm games. Honestly, quite amazing. On a more serious note it really is a nice game, when sharing it my pc kind of had some issues no idea if its the game or my pc but its whatever. Great game!!!!!! Edit: oke some of these fish are kinda evil and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up but its a fun kind of difficult
PLENTY of Fiddler crabs in this one, ITS PEAK
